Dunkin' — Restaurant in South Amboy

This Dunkin Donuts has the unique advantage of being right next to the South Amboy Train Station. The primary idea here is to get yourself a quick bite or coffee and get going to your train. This almost turned into a disaster for me on Saturday afternoon, as I came in at a rather quiet time, and just ten minutes from my train. Coming in for just an iced coffee, nothing else, and with no one on line, and only two others in the store, already seated and enjoying their purchases, it should have been a cinch to be in and out in a heartbeat. It was almost a heart attack, as it took nearly three minutes to get someone to even come out front from in back, and another several minutes to prepare, purchase, and scan my app (which was also an adventure, as it took four tries to get the scanner to work). It became almost a miracle that I was able to get my train, as I was just down the stairs and on the platform with no more than fifteen seconds to spare. Next time I come here, I will remind myself to bring plenty of time, and a bottle...

I'm a truck driver and this location is on my way to my job so I stop here frequently. If I was able to leave a 5 zeros I would. I've had so many times where I brought coffee back to them because of not putting enough sugar in my coffee or to much cream added, and/or my bagel is someone else oder! This place is the worst either going through drive thru and having to repeat myself over to them of what I just said, and to find out on my way to work that my order is still #$%* up. And on top of everything that I mentioned, this place also doesn't care about their appearance of the business. There was an large ice coffee 3 quarters full sitting near the counter where we picked up our food items for 3 or more days before someone discarded it. The floors around the front counter is a mess every time I'm there!! This week I will try to find out who owns this place or the corporate compliance department and let them know what I've experienced in...

The worst experience i have ever had, i used the stupid on the go app to order an ice coffee 20 minutes prior to their close. I get there and they tell me in an extremely rude manner they have no ice coffee because they are closing. They then proceed to try and push me to take hot coffee....no thank you i want ice coffee and a few minutes more of them pushing hot coffee i ask for my money back and they say no i said i was just charged by the app want my refund they say no. You have to come back in the morning talk with the manager to get your money i said well give me something that shows you didnt give me my ordered item so the manager knows im not lying they said no....never again this store blows and the dunkin app ordering blows even more. So nOw after being inconvenienced this evening i need to go 15 minutes out of my way to be inconvenienced...
