We had Allies cater our wedding so my review is based off of the experience with them over the months of wedding planning and not just a one time experience. Anyway, when we were going to do our taste test, I was communicating with someone about when a good day and time was to do it, and they said “from 10 on”. So since they close at 3, my fiance and I went at 1:30. When we got there, we were informed that they can’t do it right now because of a party that was about to start at the restaraunt at 2. I told them I was told we could come anytime after 10 and had the email to show. There was some back and forth and then someone finally said they can just do the testing now real quick. The food was great but we felt rushed. I also had to ask the contact I had three different times for my invoice so I could pay them and had to ask for my estimate 7 days after being told they would get it to me and never did. It just added more stress to the wedding planning process. However, the day of the wedding everything went smoothly and the food was great and their staff were kind and...
Read moreGreat experience - exactly what the standard American breakfast is supposed to be. The coffee is hot and endless, the food extremely filling, and prices that cannot be beat. On a late Sunday morning it was buzzing but with no wait, and there's a real sense of community here.
I had the German Special and my wife had the Allie's Special, both in half portions (which are sensible and enough for one person). The only thing I'd have liked to improve mine was more "special sauce" tying the whole thing together.

Maybe we arrived at a particularly stressful moment or after a tiff between servers, but customers should not bear the brunt of those expected challenges. By the end of the meal, however, the staff were extremely friendly and taking excellent care of us - just a bit of a rocky start.

Read moreOur waitress was Kayla. Very rude. Gave my girlfriend a coffee cup labeled Karen. All because my gg wanted breakfast, and the waitress Kayla kept naming off things you’d eat for dinner. The specials were spaghetti and beef stroganoff and polish sausage with a side. Then denied knowing the sneak diss behind the meaning of calling a women Karen. Then admitted it to me, saying she gave an older gentleman the same cup because of some comments he made. Waste of $26. Food wasn't that good, but the biscuits and gravy was okay. Burger and fries were cold. Egg and bacon were average. Also, many empty tables, and they sat a party of three right next to our table. Gotta wear a mask; but not social distance? Funny. So we moved...
