Kelly's Pub — Restaurant in South Bend

I called in to get a carryout order and the person who answered the phone, the bartender, had a lot of background noise from patrons of the bar so she transferred me to the kitchen. The person in the kitchen was relatively new and did not know how to make the signature Burger as of yet, but she hooked me up with another Burger with many of the same things on it, but unfortunately it cost a great deal because she charged me by the topping where the signature Burger would have been much less. While I awaited my order the local patrons were friendly but seem to have been way over served and the crowd was a bit more raucous, Rowdy, and raunchy then I'm accustomed to, but they were also friendly and tried to include me in their conversations of the evening. This place has a payphone that works and also has so much potential and a cool possible vibe. I hope this place can continue to persist even with the great number of shootings that have occurred...

The lady bartender was horrible and rude she help all the man first and caught a attitude with the women when they ask for a drink. She shook hands with the white people that came in and gave them drinks right away. If your black and try to get her attention she yell at you and tell you she busy. She get so mad when a black person open there month to her sometimes she will walk to the back and throw her hands up. I am a polite person and NOT confrontational. Me and my husband went there and i guess my husband had two beers in his pocket when he was asked to show id he did and when one of the security guys told him it was ok to proceed he did once he proceeded ,one of the guys asked him to pull his pants up and he did with no problem then the guy asked him to lift his shirt he did the guy got beers out of my husbands pocket poored them out and then struck my husband in the head where he has a head shunt i dnt belive they should be allowed to assult u if ur not being rude ,Agressive or buligerent this happend on. 4/28/2013...
