This place is bad. Bad neighborhood, bad staff, bad service, and bad food.
Going through the drive thru, I saw a baseball bat had been taken to both the menu and ordering boards. I placed a simple quarter pounder meal order. At the window I was asked to park. The parking lot addicts kept me company. The vehicles in front and behind me also were parked and after a wait a little longer than expected the crew member arrived, with the wrong meal. I explained and she soon returned trying to convince me to take the daily dou le meal.
I stepped into the restaurant to try to streamline what was becoming more complicated than necessary.
In front of me was an employee who had been in the parking lot on a smoke break. As we walked through the door he went to dispose of the dri k top and straw he had, it did not go into the trash, he noticed, but never bothered to stop and pick it up off the floor.
While watching the crew work, an employee walks in wearing dirty pants, a long gray tee shirt and a dirty McDonalds tee shirt. A crew member asks what he's doing there and he replies he's there to work. He then walks through the serving area to the fries bin and begins casually eating fries he pulls from the bin. No hamdwashing, cross contamination from his hands going into his mouth with each fry...AMAZING!
I then receive my meal, not sure I even want it now. I ask to speak to the manager, who thinks I am upset about the 15 minutes I have now invested in my meal. I express the absolute deplorable violations of McDonalds procedures I have witnessed. She's sympathetic but I doubt a single crew member really cares. Immediately as I step away I hear another customer say to her "these fries are cold". I return to my car and find my fries are disgustingly cold and stiff, I should have checked.
I did not eat this meal and will not return to this property. The Franchisee needs to take notice and action as does the South Bend...

The manager at this location actually was bagging french fries for drive thru and taking a few out to feed herself right in front of us.we were dining in and had to listen to the manager lady be rude to her employees yelling at them to hurry for drive thru orders and her and several employees got into an argument over a mix up in drive thru.there was a sign posted stating that they are short staffed so customers need to use the kiosks..1stly no customers shuld be told that, employees are there to serve customers, and there are several senior citizens that dont know how/ or dnt want to use the kiosks.2ndly covid is jus an excuse for resteraunt employees to focus on and serve drive thru only, not pay any attention to inside customers.there were plenty of employees at this location.Anyways, customers shouldn't have to listen to all the unprofessional talk of the employees.will not return to...

We had pre-ordered our meal through the McDonald's app, like we've done a hundred times over at other locations and prepaid. The worker kept mumbling the total to us and I explained to them, as well as showed them my phone where it showed payment completed, that they were misreading the receipt and that I had already paid. She then got an attitude with me and said we weren't getting our order until we pay the total.
