My husband, children and I have been coming here and enjoy it every time and we decided to bring my brothers and their spouses and kids to our once favorite pizza place. This trip however was not the same as before. We called days in advance and made a reservation since we had large group. The lady who took our drink order was super friendly but then we got a different waitress who took our dinner order. She told us everything had to be on 1 check not 2 because that’s how they do it. I said it’s just 2 checks? She said this is how we do it kinda unfriendly. We let it go but thought that was odd. Then at one end of table my brother orders 2 appetizers I ordered 2 different appetizers for my family at my end of the table and she messed up our order and brought double of what my brother ordered instead what I ordered she said well that’s what they wanted I said yes maybe but we ordered different things she said well what do u want time to do do u want something else made not nicely and I was kinda floored she wasn’t being very kind with how she was talking and just said never mind don’t worry about it. I do not like confrontation nor do I like to complain then my brother had tried to talk to her and she literally looked at him and just walked away and was shaking her head like it was the most difficult table ever!! I was so discouraged. She kept reaching over top of us while we were eating and at the end we had quite a bit of pizza left and she brought us small styrofoam containers to put the pizza in instead of pizza box?? We will try them again as the food is good and I like small town restaurants but I will definitely hope I don’t get that waitress and we will never take a large group there again for our friends and family to try together as they obviously can’t handle that. I can’t imagine how she would’ve handled a group that was large & unruly or unkind??? Discouraged my family didn’t have a good experience I gave 3 stars instead of 2 because the food is good just not the service today this time. I was also surprised even though I said thank u multiple times she never said your welcome and I didn’t see her smile at all even when she helped other...

Lucked out at Lunch!!!

During a recent trip to the area for business, I found myself in a quandary. Many of the Restaurants that my lunch crew and myself like to visit were closed on Mondays. We went all the way from New Carlyle to the airport looking for a place to eat. One of the people in my group suggested Volcano, an Italian-Style eatery close to the airport. Off we went and luckily it was open. When I arrived, I went back in time a few decades, as this place has that older feel to it. Simplistically decorated but fully functional. We were fortunate enough to catch the tail end of lunch and were able to get seated right away. Once I perused the menu, our server suggested the Italian Beef sandwich with fries. I also got a side of gravy. Since we didn't have a whole lot of time I was on point as the sandwich and the other items arrived fairly quickly. The Beef was tender and juicy, the bread fresh and all that gooey cheese made a very pleasant lunch. Give Volcano a shot, I will go back for dinner when I'm in the area again to try some other items, as it is known as a...

I recently visited The Volcano Restaurant and had a fantastic experience. The friendly and welcoming service staff made me feel right at home. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised to find that my cousin's pre-ordered pizzas were already waiting for us. It was a great start to the meal.

As we sat down, we ordered some appetizers and sides, and they arrived at our table in no time. The quick service was impressive, and the food surpassed my expectations. Every dish we tried was delicious and packed with flavor. The chefs at The Volcano Restaurant truly know how to create a memorable dining experience.

The restaurant itself had a pleasant ambiance, with a cozy and inviting interior. It was a comfortable and enjoyable setting to share a meal with family. The Volcano Restaurant definitely exceeded my expectations in terms of both service and food quality.

Overall, my visit to The Volcano Restaurant was a delightful experience. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for friendly service, delicious food, and a pleasant dining atmosphere. I will definitely be returning...

Good place! Pizza was nice! It was the first two times being turned away when they decided to 'close' early that they don't get 5 stars. I work a block away, picked up my daughter at school in Osceola to drive all the way back to be told, 'it's been slow were closing early.' That was at 7:25 a few months ago. Bit my tongue and just quietly boycotted. My daughter wanted to give it another try, I didn't. I respected her wish and we did. I solidly enjoyed the pizza and salad. Be nice to customers you don't know. I'd have been here supporting the place with office pizzas or sandwiches weekly if courtesy had been shown in the first place. I'd be a regular at this point. We'll see. Not the pizza's fault though. I hate to see people in my office suffer through domino's or papa John's anymore. That stuff is rough.

Visited yesterday while staying in town for business. This is a gem of a local restaurant which I love. I ordered the pasta mostaccioli, meatballs and extra garlic bread. Food was amazingly great for the price and will take me two days to eat it all. Also comes with a fresh salad. Servers and staff super nice. $31.00 for all this food…Thank you for a great meal and see you next time!
