Six O’clock on a sunny Sunday afternoon and I was determined not to cook — turns out the kitchen stays cleans all weekend of you eat out the entire time. The joint is jumpin’, and it obviously always is because no one seemed at all surprised. There’s a drive-thru that moves fast. I’ve ordered online and picked up that way once. This time I wanted to see the inside. I parked near what looked like a white unmarked police sedan. The uniformed officer seated inside was quietly waiting for his takeout order. He was calm and clearly not expecting any trouble, which is always reassuring. Our FOOD was very hot and healthy. Not at all oily though it must have only just been removed from the kettle when boxed up and handed over. Great place for COLLEGE students because without needing to be asked they fill every bag with an endless supply of condiments of every kind, including salt, which is important because it tastes like there isn’t any on the delicious Signature chicken. Very good! You can load it up with salt if you want but don’t blame them for the consequences. I love salty foods, but was surprised to find that I’d finished my chicken Freddie really realizing it wasn’t salty. Just two young girls ran the entire operation — a franchise owner’s dream! The orders were flying in and out constantly with online orders, drive-thru orders, and I think perhaps phone orders but I’m not sure. I placed my order at the counter and was well-pleased with the customer service. The restaurant was clean inside and out. Staff was appropriately attired, neat and clean. They didn’t exhibit any signs of stress but I was anxious just from watching them. They could use two more workers but it’s a small kitchen so I’m not sure there’d be space. Anyway, when they did communicate with one another it was all “please” and “thank you”. Very polite. I came here because I wanted good food and that’s what I got — no burgers nor pizza, thank you. Everything was fresh and perfectly done and delivered. I gave...
Read morePlaced my order on the app, weird experience as it didn't ask for my name. Order was placed and paid for, I recieved an emailed receipt. Went to the location on lincoln way west and called, young lady said they didn't have my order in the system. I asked a few questions, like how would they know it is me, I was told it was the name on the credit card I used. A manager got on the phone and told me, there was nothing she could do, unless they had the order. I waited and called back, again no order for the receipt I have, i was told to call the 800 number. I called the 800 number, they have no access to any orders. I called the store again, the manager, faye, told me there was nothing she could do. I asked for the franchisee name, she said she couldn't tell me, I asked what they were going to do, she said there is nothing they can do. 30.48 to be exact for my order. I am now heading to another restaurant to order more food. The biggest issue I had was that they were rude, acted as if i didn't matter and then lied by saying they couldn't share the franchisee name. I am a GM of a restaurant and anyone who wants to know my franchisee and or DM, or anyone else at my company is more than welcome to know. By the way the 800 number said they will put in an email to request a refund. I eat here 4 times a month, never ever had an issue, but to sit in the parking lot for over an hour. After the ordeal was done, was disappointing to say the least. Great food, but the customer service was not...
Read moreIf I could give it a zero I would. Today was my second time ever having Popeyes and will also be my last. went it and order $80.72 of food for my family. I expected it to be a long wait sense getting a lot of chicken and it was super busy. After waiting I got my food and went to take it back home. My father lives a few blocks away so it wasn't a long drive. After getting home we noticed they forgot a large side and the biscuits we ordered. So not thinking I left the food at the house and I got back in the car and drove back. after getting in and telling the associate at the register he went to the back to talk to his manager. It being a small popeyes I could hear what they where saying. The manager seemed frustrated saying I did not order any biscuits and they definably put the other side I ordered in the bag. she asked to see the receipt seeing that I did have the biscuits on the receipt they gave me the biscuits I order but they would not budge on the side. They pretty much told me I was lying without saying it directly. Why after spending so much money would I lie about a 5 dollar side? Not wanting to make a third trip to get the food or continue arguing with then I decided to just take the biscuits and leave. Honestly I should have checked the food but it was crowded and raining so I decided not too. I will never eat at...
