Timbers Fast Food & Deli South Bend — Restaurant in South Bend

It’s expected slightly pricey but good fast food casino fare. It’s awesome that they have a plant based menu! The service unfortunately leaves a bit to be desired. While the staff is always friendly the line takes forever (likely because they never have the second register open and the computer system seems slow), and on my recent visit my order was misheard or placed wrong and while they corrected it, I was overcharged, had both a staff member a manager ask me multiple times what I ordered (plant based cheese pizza with extra sauce), was left with cold fries since they didn’t remake along with the pizza, and they threw non-plant-based Parmesan cheese in the box of the plant based cheese pizza. I also ordered seasoned fries and even confirmed the seasoning with the cashier, but received unseasoned fries.

The food is decent but when they’re charging the prices they are for the food it is, I expect it to be a bit easier and more accurate. Other than the same slow line at new buffalo, they’re a much more consistent experience.

Update: I was reached out to in order to make things right. Instead of just ignoring it or giving a refund I was ensured that feedback was taken seriously and knowing Four Winds I believe them! I was very impressed with every staff member I interacted with. First I called and talked to a very sweet lady on the phone and put me thru with the security on detail. That gentleman was very polite also. Going in I briefly talked to the young man that was at the front of house. He was very gracious. I apologized for walking the wrong way thru explaining it was my first visit. He welcomed me and answered my questions and directed me to where I needed to go. After using the bathroom that was impeccably clean, I went to grab a bite and the two young ladies behind the counter were polite and friendly. With a smile they gave me suggestions and helped me put my order in with them. Again, everything was so clean. I've been to a few casinos, most of them have a fake smell to them covering stained carpets. This place smelled (for lack of a better example) brand new. Even the take out container looked like it was made of sturdy paper/ cardboard and I think the straws were paper ones also! I would highly recommend...

After the horrible experience my husband (a Pokagon citizen) and I had at the buffet, South Bend, on October 15th we decided to go to Timbers and have dinner. I ordered the Asian chicken salad and an order of chicken wings, plain. When I got my chicken wings I noticed they were dark in color but I still decided to give them a taste. When I chewed down on the breading I chipped my back upper left tooth. I took them up to the counter immediately and asked for a refund which I did receive. Now I have to go into the dentist on Wednesday to see if they can repair it. I would like to know how I'm going to be compensated for this destruction of my property (my tooth). I will not ever eat the chicken wings there again. You'll be lucky if I ever come to the South Bend...
