Subway — Restaurant in South Boston

Dismal unfriendly aggravating experience. I watched a customer walk into an empty restaurant with two servers, one a manager I believe, never acknowledged and made the appropriate choice to walkout and leave. Unfortunately I was already in the process of having my sandwich ruined with poor sandwich-making skills. The inattentive unfriendly staff definitely explains the hard chewy "unattended" bread. I made a commitment to never bother with this Subway, or the one in Walmart, because of the miserable experience, but I unfortunately wanted a particular sub. Live and learn and never again. This Subway is.....ok. The sandwiches we got were your standard Subway subs, but their line was FILTHY to look at as a customer, and there wasn't anyone in front of us, so I am wondering how long it had been like that. The veggies and meat were spilled into other containers, such as the cheese bins and other veg bins. I had to order food for 5 people, after the third sub the person helping me just walked away and started working on an online order, without even saying anything, basically ignoring the fact I needed more sandwiches. Most likely won't...

Update 12/1/24: Went there tonight for a turkey sub. They gave me the HARDEST piece of bread I have ever had. I wish I checked before I drove 20 miles home. I had to pull the meat out and put on loaf bread …smh.

1st Review: Had to tell them to wash hands before putting on gloves. That is a health standard.The bread was hard as a rock and I don’t even get it toasted. The guys working when I went were nice though. I went yesterday too and the girl tried to tell me I only had a rewards card when I knew it was a gift card. Better...
