I tried this last week and gave myself a little bit of time to think about it.
Service - is excellent. They've only been open for a little bit, but the service model is near bulletproof. Certainly helps that they are drive-thru only, they can focus on a single queue and push people through very quickly. The staff was extremely friendly.
Atmosphere - is not really a plus or minus. If you are going to do drive-thru only and charge a premium on your coffee, you have to sell an experience that would make me want to come back. So many coffee chains have opened up after the explosion of Starbucks, and Starbucks business model from inception was to sell an experience. Coffee chains now have diverted away from this thinking it's okay to sell a premium cup of coffee while cutting overhead every possible direction they can. This is arguably more expensive than SB and their model is more of a revolving door to get you in and out. For being right off the highway, I get that it's more of a convenience based approach, but I don't find value in a $7 cup of coffee that is just a drive-thru. Sounds like they do have an app that acts as a rewards program, but at the price point vs quality, I'm not sure if I could justify being a frequent visitor.
Food (I just had coffee) - is sub-par. I've had a ton of coffee in my life, and this does not rank up there with the best. I had the Carmelicous Creme Cold Brew (large) and it honestly tasted like the Starbucks Caramel Frappuccino that you get in the small glass bottle at a convenience store. Overly sweet - and you can tell the quality of the coffee misses the mark. For the area, maybe it's OK - there aren't a ton of coffee options, which is surprising considering it's right off of I-75. There aren't many decent competitors in the area. If you are a little more of an avid coffee drinker, this isn't for you.
For those comparing it to Dutch Bros - maybe the business concept is close as far as it being a drive-thru - but beverage quality isn't as good, and the price point is a little...

I recently visited Scooter's Coffee in Bradenton, and I have to say, it was an excellent experience! From the moment I pulled up to the drive-thru, the service was quick, friendly, and efficient. The staff was welcoming, and they made sure to get my order just right.
The coffee itself was fantasticâsmooth, rich, and perfectly brewed. I tried their signature Caramelicious, and it was absolutely delicious! The balance of caramel and coffee was spot on, making it a new favorite for me. They also offer a great variety of other drinks and snacks, making it a perfect stop whether you're in the mood for a morning pick-me-up or an afternoon treat.
One thing I really appreciate about Scooter's is their consistency. Whether it's your first visit or your tenth, you can always count on them for quality drinks and excellent service. The location in Bradenton is no exceptionâclean, well-maintained, and with a pleasant atmosphere.
If you're in the Bradenton area and looking for a great coffee spot, I highly recommend checking out Scooter's Coffee. You won't be...
Read moreI would NEVER eat here again. I came there around 9am Friday and the service was some of the worst I have ever received. I ordered a pumpkin caramelicious drink and a breakfast sausage burrito. The drink was fine but the sausage burrito was cold and felt like it was left out all day.
That was the least of my problems though. The manager, I believe her name is Jessica, was extremely rude to me from the get go. She was also condescending to this one black barista they had on duty at the time. I also happen to be of the same skin color. Curious if she just doesnât like people who look like us. She became even more agitated towards me when politely asking for a new burrito. I never was rude or lost my cool anytime during this exchange so race is the only thing I can think it was based on.
