The salon seemed to be ok. I had Shy as a stylist whose work started out ok, it took her quite a few times to get the color and it got worse from there. My hair is an Auburn color and I had a horrifying experience a few weeks ago when I tried to contact Shy, I had stopped in the week before and was rudely told she was not in and to call her.I waited a week as my hair turned a horrible copper brassy color. I told her I did not want copper, and at the end of the appointment she told me she used Copper?

I decided to go into the salon since Shy was extremely rude to me on the phone.she practically lunged like an animal at the door to me, when I stopped her by asking for a manager.

I want to commend the Manager Amber for suggesting another salon and being so kind.

I had gone to Shy who took quite a few times to get the color right. She finally got it close to the picture I had shown her but I noticed the grey started to come in after a week on but on 2 different occasions it came in which it should not of done properly.

I called to discuss this with Shy and also it had turned Copper which she told me she used, I did not want copper, I wanted Auburn, she had the audacity to say she spoke to her manager and “it’s the medication you are on”? I never discussed medication with her as that is personal, and the manager apologized for the confusion and said she never was told about what Shy was saying? Since I would feel very uncomfortable going back there, I went to a salon where I had a consultation and they said it is way too coppery. So if you want the right color especially if you are a redhead I WOULD NOT recommend Shy nor for a cut as she does not listen to the client’s request. I wanted layers, it was barely layered. Her behavior was inexcusable, totally unprofessional and very immature. The first picture is the color I wanted, the 2nd is what I ended up with a copper gold! She has a lot to learn!

They don’t have a phone number to call.as if they did I would try to contact Amber to talk about a refund since I had to spend a lot of money to correct Shy’s incompetence.

I am so glad to have a new stylist elsewhere who knows how to cut and color hair correctly and actually thanked me for trusting her with the mess Shy left me with, and told me unlike Shy that my hair is 100% grey when it is 65%

In response to the owner I am not on medication and once again would never discuss this with the stylist Shy,So it can not be blamed on medication it is the fact the stylist cannot get color right, and listen to the customer about what she wants with a cut. I showed her pictures.

Yes reds are difficult but there are talented stylists out there that can do red tones well, and I am lucky to have found one.
