Smoothie King — Restaurant in South Bradenton

Arrived and no one was there...no customers, no employees. One girl was on shift, must've heard me walk in and comes out of the back room. No "hello, how are you," no "how can I help you," just comes out and unlocks the register. I ask for a large Chocolate Gladiator smoothie after realizing she wasn't going to ask me what I wanted; rather, she remained completely silent until I ordered. Forget bad customer service...there is NO customer service here. She then asks me if I want to do the "medium deal." I don't know what that is, so I ask her for more information. The girl rolled her eyes and said, "It's Friday...so you get a 32 oz for $5," in a condescending tone. I told her I would do that, she rings me up, I hand her a $50 bill. She simply stares at me and says they don't accept $50s. To add insult to injury, she pushes a sign on the counter at me that says they don't accept $50s, as if to hint that it's a well-known fact their business doesn't accept large bills. She then tells me to go break it next door at 7-Eleven. I don't need a smoothie that badly, especially with her terrible attitude. The whole vibe was just awful from the moment I walked in. The employee seriously served me a drink that was overfilled. I mean the smoothie was clearly overpoured and the guy smooshed the lid on it. Think about the smoothie a dripping down the 360 of the outside of the cup, piling on the counters, sticky, messy, and the smoothie was in two cups. No apology, no courtesy heads upc, no effort to clean the mess. Just my named called and a turned back to messy smoothie cups. I should’ve took a picture but I was so baffled I just took the liberty to clean up the cup and the counter because I wasn’t going to let a foolish teen change my attitude. The second employee did seem to notice the mess but also stood back as I cleaned up his mistake. I’m not sure I’ll ever return to this locational again because I felt disrespected that the employee thought it was okay to serve a drink to...

One person working and I'm pretty sure where was on drugs or hung over. I called in because I was running late and then when I showed up there was two people waiting. I walked to the register an while I was waiting to pay 3 people walked in and got behind me in line. I explained I was the call in and she explained she didn't get around to making my smoothie yet. I payed, sat down, and then watched as sale made everyone's smoothie before mine. I then walked up and asked her if she forgot my smoothie.. she said, "are you the call in?" I said "yes..." She then turned around went in the cooler and grabbed my smoothie that was made the entire time. If you can go to the smoothie King on manatee they are the best store anywhere.
