Terrible, 1 guy making food was picking/eating from the salad bin they use to make gyros & other meals, his gloves would touch his lips then he would reach into the salad for more. I ordered a gyro with no raw onions or pickles, the other guy is making the gyro next to the guy picking at the salad, he loads the gyro up with onions & pickles, i tell him it will make me sick if i eat that & please re-make it, he says OK and picks the onions & pickles off and throws them back in their bins, I tell him again I cant eat that the salad on the bread is contaminated from the raw onions and please remake it. He grabs a new bread, he throws the contaminated salad back into the salad bin, then grabs salad from the bin and puts it on the new bread, im at a loss for words, i tell them i am never coming back and the girl at the register gives me a warm can of pepsi as an apology (their fridge seems to be set to like 75 degrees). I told her i did not want it, she & i gave it back, she should have refunded my money. They charged me a premium, over $14.00 for the gyro, the way they make it they shouldnt charge more than $4.00. They charged me before they started making the food, otherwise i wouldnt have paid and i would...
Read moreI found this place around two months back and I liked food very much, so since from that time I am ordering regularly 5-6 times a week both pickup and delivery worth of 30+ each time. Over the last few weeks, food quality and portion was decreased (paid 25$ for two platters and sides). Platter was terrible and I hardly see any chicken. Lamb smells badly and have to throw it away, I feel it's not cooked probably and we can see rawness of meat. Coming to Customer service, Old guy that works over the counter is great but new young guy was terrible. He is showing lot of attitude when we ask for any utensils/sauce as we are asking any favors to him. Remember we already paid 30+ on food and not asking him any unreasonable quantities. Also, they charge extra amount if paid through Card (never saw any other place in NJ that charges customer for Credit Card). Not planning...
Read moreFood has been great since this place opened -- both the lamb and chicken are delicious, their sauces are very good. The white sauce is some of the best I have had. I have had their baklava before and it is amazing. However, there is one big issue I see with service, and it isn't with the service itself: none of the menu prices (at least with the mixed gyro platter -- assuming this applies to the rest) are accurate. Advertised as $14 was actually $18.
Atmosphere (obviously) isn't the best. It's set in a grocery store which I actually think is a good thing for convenience, but it's not meant for dine in. But if you wanted to, the tables and seats are sometimes sticky.
Overall, food is amazing, keep in mind the menu prices, and you should...
