The car infront of me waited like 5 mins just for someone to come take their payment. The manager, I believe her name is Liz, or something has 0 business being a manager here, and Iām a five guys shift manager. She asked me what my order was when I got to the window, made eye contact when I told her my order, looked into the bags and handed me the wrong food then claimed it was because their monitors were down. The monitors being down has nothing to do with your ability to listen to the customer. Not only that but she reprimanded and yelled at a staff member with the window open infront of me. You donāt do that, if thereās a problem with an employee you pull them aside PRIVATELY when you get a chance and do/say what needs to be done then, not infront of customers and other employees. Thatās humiliating and belittling to the employee and it makes the manager look extremely unprofessional. Another issue, when she did take my food back she placed it back with other customers food. Have we learned nothing from Covid? If another customer even touches the bag at five guys the food isnāt allowed back over our counter and has to be remade. To put a bag, that has already been in someoneās car, back with other customers food is disgusting. It should have been thrown out and remade immediately. It should be part of EVERY restaurantās Covid policy. Also, circling back to the monitors, I could literally see thru the window that their monitor was clearly on and had a 1, 2, 3, &4 in different slots, which there were 3 cars (including myself) in the drive thru. Iām not blind or stupid and I donāt appreciate her treating me like I was. I could tell from the OUTSIDE that her shift was a dumpster fire and yall werenāt even busy. You had 4 orders and were making cars pull up and wait 10+ mins for their food. My fries were also cold when I got my food and my shake was not well blended. Get a manager that knows how to manage and run a shift, one that has some customer service...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAte here a month ago and it was delicious. Went back a couple days ago and it was awful. Sandwich was dry and literally crusty. The cheesesticks had a weird flavor to them they were strangely tangy. I wonder if they had been kept at proper temp prior to cooking tasted like they had spoiled. We just threw the food away and went somewhere else to get dinner. It was truly that bad even for fast food it was inedible. We love Arby's. We eat it all the time so we know what it should taste like. We just moved to this side of town a month ago so I thought I would give this location another try a few days ago because it is the closet to our house. Thought maybe they were just having an off night, This time was just as bad as the last food was completely inedible. Roastbeef dry, tough, crusty, and crunchy on the side . Didn't even bite into it looked foul. Cheesesticks again also had this weird tangy taste like they had left out at room temp before cooking and had spoiled. Took one bite of them and threw them away. Food cost to much now days for me to waste anymore of my money or time on this location. It seems as though you switched kitchen staff/cooks the food is absolutely horrible now. I seriously question if proper sanitation and food storage methods are being adhered to at this restaurant. Service was good both times. However people will endure bad service for good food but not bad food for good service. We won't be back guess I ll drive across town for a different location. Only problem is next closet one is Taylors and it's horrible too. Wonder if the same person owns both franchises? Good leadership starts at the top and is reflected in the performance of the lower level employees. Clearly not the case here. Bad franchise owner= bad managers= bad employees ( in this case cooks). Won't risk the health of my family by...
