This review is worth reading all the way through. We will start with that the windows are very tinted and it looked closed to us, despite the dark appearance it was open. The restroom was interesting. The toilet seat looked like it had been left in the sun on Venus for a few days and then put through a forest fire. The toilet wasn’t really attached to much of anything, I went to flush it and it scooted over a little bit so I just slowly walked away.
Moving on to service, the waitress was kind and happy, but not very attentive. We had to get up and find the waitress to ask for water refills and our chip and salsa bowls were constantly empty. (The salsa was good). With 11 people eating we had a wide variety of food ordered yet when we we got them we realized everyone had pretty much the same taco it was host folded differently. The tacos were tacos. The chalupas were all just tacos snapped in half to make them flat. I didn’t know there were so many different ways to present a taco, so you can order anything and get the same taco just in an interesting form.
If you want to make the water taste better, this is the best recipe:
Delicious water at Azteca grill
1 glass of water 1 splash of salsa 2 can sugar packets stirred thoroughly 1 of the pink sweeteners not stirred 1 of the blue sweetener stir it stir well
Ensure that you do not stir the pink sweetener, only the blue.
Remember, no matter how good or bad the food is, your experience will be determined by the people that you were with. I had an incredible time and would give my experience 5 stars from the...
Read moreWhere do I begin... The service was okay. I placed my order and made sure it was understood I did not want beef but instead chicken. My order comes out and it’s beef. I explain to our waitress that this is not what I ordered and she went back to the kitchen area to have it corrected. While the rest of my family began to eat, my “corrected” order comes out. It was chicken this time, except my entire meal was COLD! Our waitress said she would have my order removed from our bill, but then comes back and says there is no manager and she cannot have it removed. So we had to asked to have my food warmed up in which turns into placing it in a microwave! I’m not sure why I would go out to eat to just have my food reheated the same way I could at home... And then... our bill comes... I am now being charged for the replacement (corrected) items of my meal! I bring this to our waitress attention and she has it removed. But she had originally said she could not remove anything because there was no manager. So now I’m confused... And disappointed in my ENTIRE experience! And to top it all off, 1 of the cooks in the kitchen (btw the kitchen is in open view to the dinning room) wore his green mask around his neck the entire time he was preparing food for all of the dinning room. So yeah, I...
Read moreI do not recommend eating here. We ordered the super chimichangas with the beef tips and the Yolanda's, as well as a tamal and beans on the side. Overall the food was decent, except one MAJOR problem, the beef tip chimichangas came with ground beef, so we asked that they make it right, which the waitress did reluctantly. When we got the bill, they changed us extra. We asked about it they stated that they changed the ingredients some 3-4 months ago but the menu hadn't been updated yet. No one told us that at any point until we were done and ready to leave. So we pushed back and asked to have the charge removed, because the request was for the menu item as described, our waitress said sorry but that was the way it was, she was asked to add it. So we asked to talk to the manager, who completely refused to correct the bill. So we paid but left no tip. Personally, I am disgusted that a business that could do so many things to resolve the issue was so poorly attuned to customers. This makes me question a lot more, like the worn out benches, the broken TV's. This business needs to go out of business. There are plenty of other Mexican restaurants on the same road and area, don't water your time...
