Bell's Seafood — Restaurant in South Carolina

I came here yesterday and bought 5 pounds of frozen crawfish. No big deal. not all the way in season yet. But it wasn’t just slight colored because frozen. they were dark grey and almost black inside. not just a couple. all the ones i cooked. Even the claws were DARK grey. i threw the rest of the batch i made away and kept the remaining of the bag to bring back up there. When i called because i live far and didn’t want to waste my time. they said that it’s frozen and to only be heated up. which i did. Doesn’t matter the fact of cooking it should never be dark grey almost black period. I didn’t much care or even want to leave a review because i thought they would make it right. i sent her the videos and pictures i had, i asked if i could get compensated and if not a refund something of the same value. which was 30$. I tried to communicate and not bring a bad review. but got left on read. They have my name and number and haven’t reached back out. Highly disappointed as i live 30 minutes away and that’s the closest seafood spot to me. Also why am i having to wait on YOUR distributor? I do not want any more of those. i would like either a refund or something in exchange that is NOT frozen. I wasn’t contacted back to let know or aware of the situation. Woke up today with a taste for some fried fish and fries. So what better place to call then Bells Seafood right? Wrong! I called Bells and the lady who answered the phone sounded to be in a sour mood. I asked her how she was doing and she said “fine”! I went on to ask her if she had any fresh whiting filets, she said yes she has some but they are frozen. My mom then asked if she had any fresh whole whiting. She said she has a few on the table and the rest were frozen. We live about 25 minutes away so we just wanted to make sure they had what we wanted but I guess we were asking too many questions. When we asked if the fish was small she responded “all I can tell you is you have to come look”! I guess she didn’t want to be bothered. Today I met a very nice seasoned lady at Bells seafood. There was a younger woman helping her who was given the task of counting a 1/2 bushel of crabs mixed crabs for me. When we got to Charlotte, NC, all but 3 were female. and we didn't receive the entire 1/2 bushel. I'm going to take some of the fault.because I didn't watch her, The seasonings were excellent and we enjoyed the crabs...
