OH MY GOD! worst experience ever. We were going to the drive through with the bot and I got the 5pc, and my grandmother got the wing and breast I think? When we went to the drive through most of half of everything was wrong, the food order she ordered was wrong, the chicken wasn't cooked well done, and the lady at the window told us to pull in the drive through because they had a little bit of a stimulation or situation I guess? (I'm not the best person at words.) she told us we can pull to the drive way and we can come inside to talk with them about it but my grandmother is disabled and was not sure if she had her cane in hand. It seemed, as the lady did not know what a disabled person was though and told her to ask me to come inside. In convince. I said alright and my grandmother parked in a parking spot and that's when she looked at the chicken and decided for a refund. I went inside and gave her the box of her food and the bo-berry biscuit that wasn't even frosted. She then said I needed a whole refund because they apparently "Don't do small refunds. " whatever that's supposed to mean. I went out to tell my grandmother and I grabbed the food and got a whole refund. He gave 17 dollars back out of the 31 dollars we paid for the food. And that's when my grandmother went inside but then when we told her she said "Uhm no you only brought in the 1 box and the biscuit. " And telling me "Uhm no you didn't. " basically saying I was a liar and she said "I really don't feel like talking because I don't know what I will do. " Threating and calling a customer a liar? Yeah so the manager got everything situated and just said "Go stand in the corner. " she apologized and gave the money back. Nobody was minding their own business and came over to see. 2 people in the corner behind the counter were recording. We didn't get our food at least from Bojangles and we are currently sitting at Sonic's. Somewhere better than...
Read moreI pulled up to the drive through at 11:40am. There was 1 car at the speaker to order and 1 more car in front of me. The person taking my order was nice and friendly and my order was placed in a reasonable amount of time. By the time I finally to the window, it was 12:03. The girl at the window was on the phone yelling at someone saying that whatever they were looking for was "down the cracker aisle." She finally came back to the window, took my payment, and offered no explanation or apology of the wait time, either in the line or at the window with her yelling at someone on the phone. When she handed me my drink, it was dripping wet. I asked for some napkins to wipe off the cup and she gave me a disgusted look and walked away. She came back and handed me my food with a wad of napkins stuffed in the top and snarkily said, "napkins are in the bag." I have been to this particular restaurant many times… usually 3 to 5 times per month. I have never had to wait 30 minutes for my food or have had this terrible of service. The manager lady is lovely but is not normally there on the weekends and that seems to be when service is the most lacking. From what I could see through the window, there were at least 4 others working and the kitchen was a complete mess with food all over the floor and work stations. I asked the girl at the window if everything was OK and if they were doing OK today, and she looked back at me and said "what are you talking about? And I said, "it normally doesnt take 30 minutes here, are you guys doing okay?" She scoffed and said "obviously we're short staffed today" with no other explanation or apology. I may not be in F&B, but I am a retail manager and COMPLETELY understand the challenges of being understaffed. However, there still has to be a level of customer service given, even when your days are tough. This girl with the pink hair is not someone who should ever be...
Read moreI usually love the bojangles off of ladson rd, the people are nice and the food is normally fresh. Today however I tried to place an order and told the lady over the microphone that it was going to be a minute, she responds back with I'm sorry what did you order? So then I start with I'll take the new chicken sandwhich combo with borounds and a sweet tea. Everything's good until I ask for a 12 count of boberry biscuits and the response back was I'm sorry I dont understand, we dont have that. So i said 12 piece, and she said oh okay yes sir we only have 4. I started to respond back but before I could make anything out she gave me my total. At the drive through she opened her window and stuck her hand out waiting for the money without telling me my order or the price and was too busy talking to someone else inside, didnt even look at me. I then said okay let me get this straight, and before I could say anything else she repeated my order frustrated and hastily to me, so I then asked her again so 4 is the most I can get on boberry biscuits? She walked around the corner for a second and said yes. I said okay, paid and then went to Krispy Kreme next door to get my family's fill worth of sweets. It wasnt so much of whether or not a store has the items that a customer is looking for, but the customer service this time around was very frustrating. The lady today could have done her job better. Seemed like she wanted to do everything but serve me today and I really didnt appreciate being cut off. I really hope she gets better and learns to appreciate customers...
