So we'd been looking forward to trying this place out, and so we decided to hit up for lunch. We started off with the Caesar salad. Basically, Romaine lettuce, lots of Parm, and some croutons. Dressing on the side. Overall, Ok, but way overpriced. Next the pizza. Being able to buy by the slice is nice. First impression? The crust is VERY good. Unfortunately, the sauce has little flavor -- mainly canned sauce with a little basil and lots of black pepper. And the cheese was more texture than taste. Overall, C+, but only because they already got the hard part right. Finally, the Italian hoagie. This was a good sandwich. The only detraction was the bread, which was a little dense. Otherwise, good job. Other things we noted. The food was delivered right to our table, which was great. We did have to wipe down the table ourselves when we sat down. The place was not at all packed for lunch, but there were a number of empty tables with crumbs and water droplets on them. You'd think someone would come along behind the guests to clean up a little. This isn't intended to be a negative review. We have every intention of going back, as there are other things on the menu we want to try. We just won't be going back for the pizza.

Not impressed! My Margareta Pizza was awful. I read the glowing reviews and thought this place would be good, so I called in and placed and order for pick up. Got it back to the house, opened the box, and found an under cooked, doughy, poor excuse for a pizza. It is just thick dough, gobs of mozzarella, tomato chunks, and sprinkles of basil. I should have taken it back, but I live 20 minutes away. The taste was just as bad as it looks (see pic). Danny’s should be embarrassed to server such a mess. Needless to say, my first experience with Danny’s Authentic NY Pizza will be my last experience. NY would kick them out of the state for serving this!! It is now in my trash can. I opened a can of soup instead.

Absolutely without a doubt the most authentic and best representation of neighbourhood pizza that you’ll ever eat the dough is fabulously fresh and it’s so good that you can eat the pizza bones At the end of the slice! The toppings are exceptional fresh really good ingredients sausage it’s actually sliced and laid on the pizza the old-fashioned way and it taste great paper thin really full of flavour pepperonis peppers mushrooms onions all the freshest that they can get really nice tomato sauce with a nice balance of hardiness and good flavour The subs are phenomenal the Italian Is a personal favourite and really great when they bake the bread in the oven and heat it up for you! Danny and his staff that all worked there every one of them loves their job loves being there and loves you as a customer. When you’re there they go out of their way to make sure your visit is special and they do a phenomenal job with great customer service and kindness. Step and they are busy let me tell you they send a lot of pizzas out into the community and make a lot of people very happy on a regular basis. And while you’re there, you’ll probably into run into at least two relatives that you know from New York yours or someone else!...

My family has been long time customers and have always enjoyed the food here. Today, for the third time, when we placed an order for pick up we were given the wrong order. We drove all the way back to the restaurant to pick up the correct order. When we got there I (politely) asked if anything could be done as this was the third time this has happened (I asked if we could get one free sub next time we ordered). The owner immediately came over and in a rude tone said, “A free sub? Sure. I have kids but sure have a free sub” and tries to hand me a $10 out of the register. I said, “Well you don’t need to be like that” and he yelled “No YOU guys are like that”. Completely shocked at his reaction I just left the money on the counter and walked out. In my opinion, the owner of a business should not have had that kind of immediate reaction and should not have been so rude. He did not once even try to ask what the problem was and it was like he heard the word “free” and snapped. We were in no way trying to take advantage of the situation, but after multiple times of this mistake it didn’t seem...
