Eh I really liked this place the first time I discovered it after I moved to Surfside Beach area, and the fact it has a drive thru window to pick food up is awesome. But I was mildly disturbed yesterday when I went. First of all I was short changed a dollar, not that big of a deal but still someone who doesn't know basic cash register operations shouldn't be dealing with cash. As said though $1 isn't much but if its a common thing among customers then it adds up... check your change before you leave! Secondly when I got home to eat my food one of the boxes had what looked like a squished bug on it? Or at least a booger. Wasn't food that I can tell ya, pretty sure it was a bug. What disturbs me the most though is why they didn't put my sweet and sour in another box instead to avoid me seeing this because it was pretty obvious at the top where the box closes. Idk I've eaten there once before and got really sick, this time I had a feeling it would happen again so I didn't eat a thing. Threw it all away, that bug thing...

We debated ordering an order of shrimp fried rice off the menu vs. pork fried rice - $.50 difference. We decided to do a combo which is 1/2 meat and 1/2 fried rice so a 1/3 amount of rice we would have normally received. They charged us a $3.00 up charge to change it to shrimp even after explaining how unfair it was, we were told owner decision, owner not here, TS… very disappointed..

UPDATE: Got our food and even after paying the $3.00 up charge we were still given pork fried rice. What a terrible restaurant experience with so many available options. Photo shows 0 shrimp and pork instead.

UPDATE 2: called in and politely explained the situation. Told not there fault, no credit could / would be issued, again owner decision who wasn’t in. If we wanted to drive 40 minutes round trip at our expense they would give us a small order of shrimp rice.
