Yesterday November 14,2024 I encountered an extremely distressing situation at your restaurant located at 7418 Augusta Rd, Moonville, SC. I placed a drive-thru order around 1:15 PM, and Navie, who is a staff member black girl with short hair, took my order. After paying, I was instructed to pull forward as they were waiting for biscuits to finish cooking. As I waited, I noted the time was 1:17 PM. I remained in my vehicle until 1:24 PM, at which point I decided to enter the KFC.
I noticed another gentleman entering from a different door at the same time. Upon entering, I saw only Navie, who was the sole staff member present. After a couple of minutes, other employees emerged. Navie then approached the front counter, disregarding my presence, and attended to the gentleman who had placed a mobile order, adding biscuits to his meal. Shortly after, another man arrived, and she again ignored me to assist him. I felt compelled to stop her and inquire about my order, to which she responded by rolling her eyes and walking away. I expressed my discontent, stating that she should not roll her eyes at me. In response, she turned and shouted that there were only three people present, followed by a barrage of insults, and she approached me aggressively, confronted me physically 1inch from my face.
I have never experienced such a level of disrespect in my life. At that moment, Deidra, a staff member white lady with red-tinted hair and glasses, intervened, attempting to restrain Navie, who was just inches from my face. Deidra's first comment to me was that Navie is a minor, after she had pulled her back. An older black gentleman then approached to ask about my order, which was finally prepared. I requested Deidra's assistance in obtaining the corporate contact number, but she stated she did not know it. When I asked for Navie's name, she refused to provide it, claiming that I had entered with an attitude. I have never felt so attacked in a place where I regularly spend my hard-earned money. Read moreI was very disappointed with my order, and with the store presentation, also as well, the overall courtesy. I took the opportunity to place a order online. The order said it was ready and I waited a complete 45 minutes over in the store with no explanation. When I asked about my order, there was not a manger or clerk in site, but it was plenty of customers complaining about a big spill that made the store look overall nasty and disgusting. One manager did finally come out and an elderly, customer had to explain to them that there was a mess that needed to be cleaned up, because she almost fell. almost an hour I finally get my order get home, and the chicken is obviously overcooked which upset my family and children. I was very shocked because I spent my money and as well more than enough time for my order to be correct ,to be disappointed and my family was upset and was not appeased. Since I had to go back up to the store, most of my family lost the taste of KFC and did not want it anymore. This restaurant is in a prime location so I would expect more from management and as well overall tightness of a restaurant that’s a big franchise.
