Worst place in the state to eat, has to be.
Dined in this hole on 2/24/2018 at 8:15PM
Cook took his shoes and socks off and through them in the dinning room floor near our table, walked over to some croc looking shoes also stored in the dinning room and put those on to cook. Attached pictures of both shoes in the dinning room floor.
Waitress was behind the counter upset with someone and instead of walking to our table she ask us to "just yell out our drinks" . My coffee was full of coffee grounds when i finished my first cup. I ask the one waitress who was willing to leave the counter to get me a fresh cup, she apologized and left. I later, after never getting it, I requested that cup of coffee again only to be ask what was wrong with the first one. I explained and still expected a refill. I finally got the refill when i called the waitress over about the grill gunk all over the waffle. The new coffee had so much grounds in it I was able to scoop out a bit on a spoon from a full cup. Attached pictures of both cups.
My daughters waffle as mentioned had so much grill residue on it that i thought it was sprinkled with chocolate. The waitress said wow, I wouldn't eat that either. Brought another out with slightly less and she said that was the best they could do. The waitress didn't take the waffle despite me telling her we were not eating it, and TRIED to charge me for it. I Didn't get a picture of the first but got one of the second waffle and the reason why the are so nasty. See attached.
My hash brown must have been forgotten about on the grill. This was supposed to have been covered in cheese with onions. Picture below speaks for itself.
I guess nothing should have surprised me when the cook changed his foot wear in the dinning room.
I will be sending this exact review to the Waffle House home office and IF they respond, I will edit this to include...
Read moreThe staff at this location is lazy and inconsiderate. The only person worth talking to was the manager, and I did not get her name. She was busy working while the others were inside sitting down. The restaurant had no customers and there was a cook and two servers inside but none of them were doing any work. When I walked in, the cook did not lift his head to greet and the two servers stayed seated, while one of them played on her phone. Due to the storm, they had an altered menu, so I asked them could they explain it to me. One of the servers finally stood up and tried to explain to me what was in a hash brown bowl, and let me know that was the only thing they were serving. I asked if I could get it deconstructed, and she said it had to come the way it was on the menu. I asked for the menu and she said its not on the menu.... LIAR!!!! When I told them to go ahead and give me a hash brown bowl, the cook acted like he didn't want to do it. She asked him did he want her to ring it up. He finally said, yeah, go ahead and I said, never mind and proceeded to let them know how lazy they were. Their level of customer service was absolute garbage. You are sitting around like you have absolutely nothing to do, and you can't even greet the customers when they walk in the door. I know when people read this, they'll say, well, hell, it's Waffle House. But customer service is still the common sense expectation. When I stepped outside, the manager ask me if there was a problem. I told her what the situation was, and she apologized for how I was treated. That is all it takes. Sometimes all we want is positive Customer service, even if you can't give me a different answer. A soft no is always better than a...
Read moreA one star is not even close to the experience I had at Waffle House. Awful… for starters the first time we walked in and took a seat and ordered the employees had donuts, ate them in front of us licking their fingers and didn’t even wash their hands and started cooking again. One also looked at us and said we had a staring problem and needed to stop looking at them. The second visit they would all stare at me and my family while eating rolling their eyes, being rude and talking to each other about my husband that is Hispanic even ran away from us to the back because of my husband but stood at the door way and talked and stare at us. They also stuck the middle finger to my under age daughter that didn’t say a thing to them. After we paid and walked out the door she came out and looked at us as we left. The third visit and the last my daughter got a waffle that was under cooked and doughy, grits that were cold that wouldn’t even melt the cheese. we had to wait about 25 minutes for two of the drinks also we didn’t even get silverware. We AGAIN got talked about and stared at . One of the worker’s husband/boyfriend was in the back when he wasn’t supposed to because he’s not a worker. The last thing is while we were eating the workers were talking and said “most of the the people that don’t like America is the ones that don’t belong here” also saying “I’m not ashamed to admit it” loud enough for my family that was across the diner to hear. Every single time the employees were the same. Absolutely disgusting/ racist. I wouldn’t recommend coming here...
