Krispy Kreme — Restaurant in South Carolina

We were passing through and saw the hot donuts now sign on. We stopped in to get a couple of dozen. One employee was on her phone in the lobby while the other was helping the drive through. When I tried to order the hot donuts I was informed we don't have any. I looked and the conveyer belt had boxes on it so it hadn't been run in a while. The display case were a shambles and when I asked for lemon filled they didn't have that either. I ended up getting some cold gaze and two special donuts. The donuts tasted old and anything other than fresh. I doubt anyone had made donuts since the morning. The card machine didn't work. How hard is it to keep this simple business running? It's obvious the employees didn't care. The place is open for another 4 hours with less than half a case of donuts on a Friday night. I fully expect this location to close the next time I pass through. In such a poverty stricken area, how can people expect to survive there if they do not put any effort in their viable business which could...

Disappointed. The staff was rude and very inconsiderate! We have a special needs grandson and it took him a little extra time to choose what donuts he wanted from the display case inside of this establishment. The employee that serve us rushed with a nasty attitude to the point she kept asking "What else you need" and "decided yet" after 30 secounds was smacking teeth and rolling her eyes like we were a bother. The store was not busy at all. This employee made it seem we were such an inconvenience to her. My husband still purchased the donuts cause our grandson really wanted them. My grandson and I walked out back to car to seprate him from all the negativity that was flowing inside the store. So sad with everything going on today a little kindbess to others goes along way. The lady that was serving us needs an extra customer sevice skills class. We visit Florence SC every other month and never received this type of of service in 9 years WE WILL NEVER...

My husband went to this location last Thursday to let them know we would be needing 5 dozen Friday morning and gave them my name and the time I was coming in. (And watched them write it down) I went in Friday morning with my daughter (these were for her to take to school to celebrate her birthday) and the lady behind the counter was making coffee and starring at her phone. We stood there for almost 5 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. I told her my husband gave my name and everything the day before and I was there to p/u the 5 dozen. And she gets rude with me and tells me they left my name and nothing else so they aren't ready. We had to wait an additional 10 min for her to box 5 dozen doughnuts (with an attitude the entire time). Every time I go to this location I am treated as an inconvenience, I will never use this location again. Pathetic that grown women act like this at their job and are...
