The reservation process is pretty seamless and easy to do, we were sat at a table that was no more that 2.5ftx2.5ft about 10 ft from the front door. The chairs were extremely small with arms to really cozy you in. We asked to move to a bar top with more comfortable chairs away from the door. They had no problem accommodating. When we got to the new table it was super small also. A 2.5ft round table. The girl next to us had to put the to go box in her lap to put the food in it small. It was very close to the other tables where I could have taken food from their plate. The whole restaurant has a "open concept" kitchen which makes the entire place hot to where they had a small shop fan sitting on a shelf trying to circulate air. We then waited 20 minutes for the waiter and we almost left. He went to the table next to us 4 times during that time. We finally got our drinks and the Old Fashioned was phenomenal. The skinny Marg was good too. The appetizer came out, it was the Fried Mozzarella, the sauce was great, it was breaded great, fried great and tasted great. I got the seafood pasta which the presentation of all the food was beautiful. Only thing is the noodles, I'm assuming homemade, we're a bit doughy. But overall the sauce was delicious. The wife got the chicken pesto pasta and loved it. Overall the food was phenomenal. The restaurant is way too small and when you're there would seem more like a Italian place you'd see in LA or NY. Another issue I had was after eating I started watching the chefs and people around the bar and saw multiple things that were a bit unsanitary by both bartender/waiter and chefs. Putting phones on the prep station, wiping their phones with the clean rags for the prep station then going back to working without washing hands and still using the rags. The waiter adding cereal garnish to milkshakes bare handed after he had just took money and cleaned up other tables without washing hands. Having employee drinks all over the counter tops where they finish up food. Just a ton of little things that once ironed out could turn this place from a 3 star to a 5 star. It all seems negative but the food was phenomenal. People make mistakes but should be brought up to learn. That is why I posted...
Read moreThe Worst Dining Experience of My Life—Avoid at All Costs
I don’t even know where to start with how horrible LPC Kitchen was. I wish I could give this place zero stars because it truly deserves nothing. This was, without a doubt, one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had, and I honestly feel scammed that I spent money here.
First of all, the service was straight-up hostile. I asked to sit outside since I saw other people out there, and this woman—who I assume was a manager or owner—immediately started shaking her head aggressively, waving her hands, and literally yelling that the patio was closed. No explanation, no polite response—just full-on attitude like I had just insulted her entire family. It was bizarre and completely unnecessary.
Then there was the atmosphere, which was an absolute joke. This place is supposedly an upscale Italian restaurant, yet they were blasting club music like we were in some wannabe Vegas lounge. Meanwhile, I booked a 9 PM reservation specifically to avoid families with kids, but that didn’t matter—there were screaming children running around while people in baggy T-shirts and gym shorts dined on their $50 plates of food. I don’t care what people wear to dinner, but if I’m paying that kind of money, I at least expect a place that feels somewhat classy, not like a chaotic chain restaurant.
And don’t even get me started on the food. I love Italian food, but everything here was randomly spicy for no reason. It’s like they just threw in extra heat to mask how bland everything actually was. Who asked for spicy Italian food?! It made zero sense, and for what they charge, it was laughable. Speaking of overpriced—my $25 glass of bourbon was mostly ice. Not even the good kind, but a giant block that they automatically charge you for without even asking if you want it.
I genuinely regret wasting my time and money here. This place is an overpriced scam with terrible service, a confused atmosphere, and food that isn’t even remotely worth the price. Save yourself the disappointment and go literally...
Read moreThis new location had good reviews so we decided to try it on a Friday night, probably not a good decision. We made a reservation for 6:30 which required a credit card to guarantee, if we did not show up there was a $20 per person charge. We arrived early at about 6:10 PM, we were told our table was not ready but the folks at our table had to leave by 6:30. There were 4 tables for 2 people open but they were not available for us. Ok so we went to the bar for a couple or drinks, the bar was very busy but we got 2 old fashions and they were good. No place to sit so we went outside, the hostess found us around 6:30 to seat us. 3 of the 4 tables were still open when we were seated and they sat us at 1 of those tables. My wife forgot her glasses and could not read the menu. The waitress asked for orders soon after we sat down, we ordered 2 more old fashions and the meat ball appetizer, she said we could only order food all at once and she would be back after bringing our drinks. We ordered a salad and a pizza with pepperoni. My wife asked for mushrooms on the pizza but that was not available and the waitress tried to read all the available toppings, I cut her off and said we wanted a margarita with pepperoni. The salad came and it was cucumbers, tomatoes, croutons and balsamic with no lettuce. We checked the menu and no lettuce was included, so our mistake. The pizza came with no pepperoni, we asked why no pepperoni and the waitress said I said no toppings and was very short with her when we ordered. OK so we said please remove the pizza and we will pay the bill for drinks and “salad”. We went to Halls Chophouse for dinner which was awesome and wish we had never...
