EDIT: The owner's childish response has earned them a one star and will ensure that we don't return if changes were made nor will we suggest the place. The review that I left was professional and didn't warrant such a poor response. The owners response highlights the issue with the management of this establishment.
I'm going to start by stating that this place has a lot of potential but lacks a solid business model and direction by management. I visited this location with my fiancé and our biggest issue was the price in relation to the proportions. It was extremely over-priced. My fiancé got avocado toast, which was something like $7 for a single piece of toast with avocado. I got the Master's sandwich, which is an egg salad sandwich that came with egg salad, sprouts, and tomato, which cost $12. When I got extras like cheese, onion, and olives, it was like $15 - $16. This is far more expensive than any restaurant, sandwich shop or small business in the immediate area. it was around $25 for everything I just stated, plus two sodas. While we liked the food, we can't justify returning due to the price. There was nothing special about this business that justifies that kind of spend for what we received. They also had Alcoholic Froses available, which didn't make a whole lot of sense considering that they're located in a low-grade business park. I'm not sure that employers want their employees drinking on their lunch breaks. To each their own, though. The froses were also ridiculously expensive. Personally, I think some minor pricing adjustments are necessary, and this place would be hitting its...
Read moreYou HAVE to check out The Co-Op! This place isn’t just another spot in a strip mall—it’s THE place to be! Sure, it’s known for its frozen wine drinks (which are AMAZING), but don’t be fooled into thinking it’s just for the ladies. They’ve got an impressive lineup of local craft beer, and their gourmet sandwiches? Absolute next-level deliciousness that hits the spot every time.
In the summer, my family and I love hanging out on their awesome, kid-safe patio with frozen drinks or a cold beer in hand while the kids burn off energy. In the winter, it’s the perfect retreat to escape the cold with warm, inviting vibes and a menu that makes you want to stay forever.
Oh, and let’s talk about their Taylor Swift mural—epic doesn’t even begin to cover it. It’s a conversation starter, an Instagram must, and just plain cool. The staff? They treat you like family, always friendly and ready with great recommendations. We love bringing out-of-town guests here because it’s the kind of unique, local spot everyone falls in love with. Whether you’re looking for great drinks, amazing food, or just a place to relax and have fun, The Co-Op is...
