Response:
If I was speaking with the owner and expressed 2 problems before the end of my appointment why did I have to defend myself by making a google complaint when you were already aware of my concerns? You being the owner makes you not solving my problems when I brought them to your attention worst. You had 2 opportunities to remedy my concerns and chose not to until I left a review.
You knew I started late BECAUSE I TOLD YOU. Furthermore if I had a paid reservation which is on the hour why not ensure my court was empty before my arrival? It worries me that your lack of hospitality was due to my family being African American which makes you not a good person. Everyone elseās feedback suggests coming back to improve customer experience but not mine which further proves your lack of hospitality was due to our race and you ensured we had a poor experience.
Securing a business loan and owning a business doesn't give you the right to sit on a register and give poor service with attitude.
Do better!
THE POOR SERVICE STARTS WITH MANAGEMENT.
I paid extra for a covered space and waited 10 minutes for my court to become available. When I brought this to MANAGEMENT I was told I could move to a sunny spot and begin play. I didnāt pay to play in the sun.
I didnāt get the extra 10-minutes on my court and was asked to move to another court if I wanted to continue playing and there werenāt any shaded courts available. I wasnāt compensated for my inconvenience and I expect better customer service. The middle-aged cashier would be better used as a table cleaner. Put someone younger and gleeful on the register.
I read the responses to the poor reviews: āoh come back and ask forā. No fix the problem on the spot! Poor business practices Poor management Poor customer service Management lacks...
Ā Ā Ā Read more"No 'Pickle' Too Big for The Pickle Bar
Ever found yourself in a "pickle" trying to decide where to perfect your dink shot or smash? Look no further than The Pickle Bar, a facility that knocks it out of the park, or should I say, court? As a pickleball enthusiast for a few years now, Iāve seen my fair share of venues, but none tick all the boxes like this place does. Although I havenāt tried the 1-on-1 classes (yet!), I've swung a paddle or two under the guidance of Keith, an instructor who can turn your weakest lob into a winning volley faster than you can say "pickleball." Highly recommend him!
Not just about the sport, the venue scores big on the culinary front too. Their food is a grand slam, with the beer cheese being my go-to MVP. But donāt let that stop you; the rotating seasonal menu keeps things as fresh as a well-served pickleball. Plus, their karaoke nights and live music sessions add an extra layer of funāimagine belting out your favorite tune or grooving to a live band after a spirited game.
Whether itās open play, refining your skills, participating in one of their spirited tournaments, or enjoying a night of songs and chords, The Pickle Bar serves up a fantastic mix of play, instruction, and mouth-watering eats, all while keeping the tunes rolling. They manage to nail the vibe every time, making it the perfect spot for anyone looking to dabble or dominate in the sport. Get yourself down to The Pickle Bar, because this place is...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI want to preface my review with the fact that as of writing this review they've only done a soft opening. The Grand Opening from what the owner has told me isn't till January 1st, 2024. At this current point in time they have a limited menu with only 4 items and a few different sides. I was told that this would change at the beginning of December 2023. We just got the chips & queso, fries and some drinks. The chips, queso and salsa were all made in-house and quite good. Most of the drinks were well priced but our only complaint was that the cocktails seemed a bit pricey. Averaging from $10 to $15. The staff was quite helpful and tended to us pretty quickly. The dining area is quite spacious with two sections and plenty of televisions for sports. We were told by the owner that they plan on utilizing the spacious dining area for cornhole tournaments, live music and other events. Based on what we were able to see and were told the Pickle Bar has a huge amount of potential to become a competitor to places like Carolina Ale House and Buffalo Wild Wings. We look forward to seeing what else comes as they transition from their soft opening to their...
