My wife and I have been wanting to check this place out for a while now and tonight was our first and last time. Upon walking up to the front door we saw a sign out front āTacos all day 3.50ā so we were excited for a good Taco Tuesday. Upon walking in we thought it was a decent atmosphere. Server came to our table put a menu in front of us and gave us about 10 seconds before asking if we knew what we wanted. Through our entire dining experience I was blessed with having the head lights from Chick-fil-aās drive through. Utensils were placed in front of us and about 3 minutes later the waiter came and took them to a different table (did COVID teach nothing) My wife ordered 3 shrimp tacos and I got a steak, chicken and chorizo. All tacos were drown in cilantro and onion. It was so overpowering you couldnāt even taste the meat. The meat on its own was tasteless and unidentifiable. Tortillas were blue and soggy and cold. We asked for the check and noticed 3 out of our 5 tacos were $5+. I asked the waitress because the sign out front said they were $3.50 all day. She said that was only for certain tacos but we were never told nor did the sign say. I asked to speak to the manager/bartender who had been drinking behind the bar the entire time we were there. He told me he had no idea what the sign says and that it says on the website what tacos are $3.50 that I was unaware I needed to check. He was unapologetic and didnāt try to fix anything. He stated I should have asked to move because he canāt control the headlights. Upon leaving I asked if he was supposed to be drinking on duty and his response was āabsolutelyā. Definitely do...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreCan I just say WOW! When checking out some #realestate in Camden we decided to have a quick meal and this place was close. So we went in. Itās situated almost hidden next to Eggs Up Grill.
We did NOT expect what we got in here. As you walk in youāre met with a host/hostess at the register ready to take your order. A simple menu of #Mexican Street Food. And an extensive #cocktails drink menu.
The drinks were interesting. I was in love with the options where you can go with any of there very sophisticated and unbelievably delicious concoctions or create your own #Margarita.
I created a mango-jalepeno; and as odd as that sounds IT IS THE MOST DELICIOUS DRINK IāVE EVER HAD!!! That is until they added their own #mango pepper drink to the menu recently that is even better than my invention š
You will go for the drinks and be won completely over by the food!!! #StreetFood could never describe the culinary art of flavors and textures that has created hands down the BEST #Mexican food I have ever had. And thereāve been a couple of good ones here.
We now drive a half hour weekly-ish just to indulge in our new favorite culinary artistry quick food. You will not...
Ā Ā Ā Read morebeen a masa veteran since it opened almost 4 yrs ago, met most of my SC friends here, and have always been received with open arms. the best part about masa is not the food or drinks but the people behind the counter that do their best to satisfy the customer. iāve seen a lot of employees work here and go on to do great things. i consider them part of my family. if u donāt sit at the bar and talk to them one-on-one then you are missing out. if all you want out of the experience is food/drinks then i recommend that you go to their sister restaurants, i.e. salud (camden), san jose (elgin), or coa (columbia). masaās staff puts love into what they do. if at any point you are dissatisfied, asking nicely and professionally goes a long way here. as for erik, he is the best bartender iāve met and that means a lot coming from living in vegas for 8 yrs. he is nice, kind, and understanding, but he aināt no pushover...
