Hello! Just went here today. By far the worst customer service of any McDonald's I've ever been to. I did not get any food, not for lack of trying, but because I was there for about 30 minutes without even being able to order. First, I tried the drive thru, and, admittedly, I've never actually driven through a drive thru before, so I was extremely nervous. My friend, my wonderful, patient friend, the person in my car that actually wanted things from this god-forsaken store, attemped to order, with no response from the woman manning the drive thru. She would have tried again, but a train drove by and, being reasonable people, we understood there would be no possible way for the woman to understand with the train blaring by. After waiting about 5 minutes for the train to come through, we attempted to restart the order, but there was still no response. After a few half-hearted "Uh.. Ma'am?"s, we gave up with the drive thru, and I pulled into a space. Not wanting to make a further spectacle out of my inexperience at being a customer at a fast food restaurant, I opted to stay in the car while my friend went in to get what they wanted. Ten minutes later, my friend comes back, no food in hand. I was like "What happened???" And they proceeded to explain that they stood at the cash register for, let me remind you, TEN MINUTES, and not one employee came to the cash register. I understand a lot of places are understaffed, I understand that most of the time it's corporate's fault for hiring too few people, but let me tell you, this lack of service wasn't from being understaffed, BECAUSE MY FRIEND MADE EYE CONTACT WITH MULTIPLE EMPLOYEES WITHOUT EVEN BEING ACKNOWLEDGED? I try to reasonable, working is hard, especially at a McDonald's, but genuinely how does it get to this point? If you want good food in the area go down the street to NYC Deli, their food slaps. I have no clue how the food at this McDonald's is, so I was generous with 3 stars....
   Read moreI come here often as I live very close. The food quality is actually consistently good. The service however is always subpar. Without fail, every single time they get our order wrong. Sometimes even getting wrong after I bring it to their attention. This most recent visit, today. I ordered a #11 with an extra hashbrown and a hot coffee. A chicken biscuit combo with cheese and a large drink. I Also ordered a toy we told them we are dining in. They didn't bring us the food, ok no big deal we just went to the counter to get it. It was missing the extra hashbrown, toy, the drink was a medium not large and no cheese on the biscuit. We waited 10 min roughly to have that corrected. They still forgot the cheese. Upon looking at the receipt they upcharged .60 for the coffee! And charged a $1.30 for the orange juice. Not to mention we waited a long time to be served almost 15 minutes upon arrival and we were first in line. They wanted us to use their self order machines that nevermind the fact I refuse to use those....all but one was...

JUNE 25,2024 When I stop for breakfast, this is my goto place. Seems like they are still struggling with staffing or employee turn over rates like the rest of us., cant fault them for that as there is a lot of commerce relocating to Nexton, Summerville and Brekely county. There are some smiling faces in the 530am crew.
Jan 2023 The counter is set up more like a restruant so you cant see the kitchen area. I like that. There are kiosk but only 1 was operational The restroom has a changing table. The drive thru opens at 530am. But the screens still dont work. I can tell you its slow at 530am but unlike the main street mcdonalds they are open on time and dont overcook...
