Youâre tired. Itâs been a long day. Heck, itâs been a long week. Your feet hurt, the cupboards bare, and you canât imagine preparing a meal, let alone doing the dishes. So, you pull into Sirin Thai #2 next to the UPS store and across the parking lot from the Publix. The aroma hits you as soon as you step inside the restaurant; itâs a subtle intoxication: sweet, sizzling, with just a touch of spice. The guests seated at the unassuming tables around you are all smiling and relaxed. They sip tall Sapporo beers and savor each bite of tasty Pad Thai, hoping itâs not going to be their last. You step up to the counter and order a Thai Fried Rice with Spring rolls and A Thai Tea to go. The friendly cashier is young, professional, and eager to please. A smooth R&B classic plays through the television sound system. Your anticipation builds as you think about bringing home this simple, yet satisfying mealâgood thing youâll only have to wait less than twenty minutes for it to be warm and ready. Itâs packaged with care as you accept the bag and step out into the cold night. Suddenly, you feel rejuvenatedâlike you just returned from a weekend yoga retreatâexcept, you donât have anymore PTO leftâŚno yoga, no retreat, no, you just went to Sirin Thai #2 off Old Buncombe Road. And it may end up being as kind to your spirit as it was to...
Read moreWhat are you having for dinner tonight? Make it Sirin Thai! Start with the spring rolls. Trust me. Get two orders of them. TRUST ME. Then order your favorite Thai dish with whatever protein option you prefer. I prefer that pad Thai with chicken. But the beef fried rice is also incredible. They also have sweet and sour chicken, plenty of seafood dishes and chicken satay. Something for practically everyone. Got room for dessert? Of course not, but get the sticky rice with mango anyway. It's like a little vacation on a plate with warm super sticky sweet rice drizzled in a coconut milk sauce with at least a half a ripe, sweet diced mango next to it. The flavors are so fresh that it satisfies your wish for something a little sweet to complete your dining experience without feeling too rich. All the food is incredibly delicious and the staff are beyond nice despite how busy they stay. It's no wonder why they are such a popular choice for dining! The dining space is smaller, perfect for dates but do not hesitate to grab takeout! They package everything wonderfully so you won't have to worry...
Read moreWow I would give them 100 stars if possible! I've been several times before for dine in and take out. They have the best green curry I've ever had in the states. My birthday is this week and since I love Thai food and the location was right, I decided to make reservations for dinner with my family and friends. It is not a large restaurant and there ended up being 22 of us, yet they accommodated our reservation. We walked in and the staff had decorated the tables with balloons and party napkins. I was overwhelmed by their kindness. They graciously navigated taking orders as guests arrived and every order was correct and came out quickly. I was able to try almost every dish ordered and everything was amazing. I enjoy spice but even dishes without spice were flavorful. Near the end of the evening they came out with mango sticky rice and a birthday candle and I almost started crying. Every server went out of their way to make me feel special and they didn't even know me. I will definitely be going back and highly recommend this restaurant. It's probably the best birthday...
