On July 5th at 10:53 a.m., I ordered a Pike Place coffee with room for cream. I was met at the register by a female employee who appeared not to be in the mood to be bothered by me. Her greeting attitude was not the "Starbucks" type of character that you all claim to have in your establishment-. She did fix my coffee correctly, however, when I asked for a sleeve and stirrer, she immediately cut me off as I was finishing up my words. She told me, " The sleeves are down there and the stirrers," in a cold manner that was not professional. However, I started to correct to inform her that there was a stack right by the coffee machine where she fixed my coffee. Her rudeness overshadowed my need for assistance. I replied, “Oh! Ok!” I took my hot cup of coffee without a sleeve that was burning my fingers and retrieved what I needed from her directives. The inside of the store was not busy, as I was the only customer she had at that time at the register. I went to my car extremely dissatisfied with the service and rudeness of this employee which made me feel unvalued as a customer. Unsure of what her problem was with me or herself, I gave her a positive attitude. I did not appreciate it, nor did I attempt to make a scene at that moment in time. I was upset and started to return my coffee for a refund, as Starbucks is supposed to have customer service that accepts diversity and inclusion of others. This lady who works there demonstrated the opposite of the standards of customer service I have read and experienced that the establishment is supposed to provide. As a loyal customer of the coffee chain, I have NEVER EVER been treated so rudely and unprofessionally as I was at this location by this employee. She was unpleasant and had no business working with customers. If her attitude spreads to others at this establishment, you all will not have customers. This was tasteless and saddening to experience. I have visited this location numerous times and have never been treated in this manner. I will take my business elsewhere, where I am treated like a human being who can feel valued and not disrespected as this grown woman treated me, as “A paying customer.” She needs assistance in customer service skill sets, otherwise you will lose more customers with her bad attitude. This is for store...
Read moreI have had to delete my prior 5 star review of this location as of today, if service improves i may update, however this was my experience today.
I placed a order for 2 matcha lattes, yes they were customized, however, i always use the same recipe and have not changed it for a year, with that said, when i received the two drinks, they were filled with matcha clumps and pure powder, my husband and i couldn't even take a sip without getting a clump of powder, its astonishing how someone can even look at a clumpy drink and hand it to you without a care.
Needless to say, i asked for them to kindly remake the drinks because of the clumps, the white girl at the window had always been there when i came and she took my order kindly, however the black women making the drinks, had an attitude, and was not well dressed, her shirt was half way up her back showing her underwear 🤢 and when asked to remake, she simply shook it up and handed it back out of the window, seeing this i asked for a full refund since the drinks were un-drinkable, she then handed me a paper to sign, didn't say what it was for, i read it and it said "store credit" i said im not signing this, i paid cash and as cash was my original payment method, id expect cash for my refund, with an attitude she gave me my cash back.
My question to management is this, is this the person you want working here? Because i don't believe anyone wants someone with an attitude serving them and slamming the window, please hire more professional employees at this location.
This was very offputting, this is supposed to be a high end coffee chain, and most people expect...
Read moreAre all Starbucks the same? I thought so but it’s not like McDonalds - it depends on your barista and their skill.
Not all Starbucks are created equal. There’s a Starbucks about every few miles. You’d think that what you’d ask for would be the same at all locations. Not true. If you want it done by a professional go here.
If you want your drink to feel like it was made by yourself go to another person. In fact try different locations and see which ones are the best.
This one on piney grove - is One of the few that open at 5am. One of the friendliest and fastest Starbucks locations. I normally order thru Uber eats but decided to try it in person. Only downside is it’s hard to get in here as it’s near I-26.
The coffee and fruit drinks I’ve ordered here are always really good. When I drove up someone was fixing the order monitor and talking and was really hard to talk to the cashier. But she didn’t get angry she was very patient. The store is clean and it feels safe. Only downside is they ran out of the pumpkin spice - so I went...
