The Pub on the Square — Restaurant in South Carolina

I was really looking forward having a pleasant and enjoyable time at this little pub. I was until I asked the kitchen cook/evening manager named Dub for a lime to put in the Corona beer that I had just ordered!!! Dub was the meanest, rudest person that I have yet encountered in a good establishment!!!! I am shocked that the owner feels comfortable with entrusting his restaurant kitchen to such an evil person!!! Dub was restocking beer in the cooler, behind the front counter. Since Dub was already in the cooler, I didn't think that it would be a big deal to wash his hands (once finished stocking) and pass me a lime. Dub turned around to me, said something that was very disrespectful and with TOTAL ATTITUDE, rolled his eyes, and turned back around!!!! I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT!!! Then Dub reached in the lime container, with the same black gloves that he was stocking beers with, and handed me a lime. No hand washing, with TOTAL attitude, and disrespect!!!!! GROSS....GROSS...GROSS!!!!! I just can't believe that the owner hires and trusts people like Dub!!!!!!!!!!!...

My Husband and I, went downtown to try the pub for lunch. We ordered the Philly Cheesesteak and the brisket sandwich with fries in lieu of a Ribeye Steak since it's only offered on the dinner menu. We also ordered an appetizer basket of potato keg bites that were a amazing. We decided to make a trip the following week to try the Ribeye that the Manager personally cuts himself. Since our lunch seemed to be so great and I heard a lot about this manager personally cutting the steaks himself, we decide to give it a try. First time visiting wasn’t bad at all to start out. Many great menu options. Food wasn’t bad either I had an appetizer of Buffalo Chicken Dip it was very cheesy and good I just wished it had more chicken. I ordered the hamburger steak and it was perfect alongside broccoli with cheese and mashed potatoes. The hamburger steak was cooked perfectly and tender and the onions and peppers were very fresh.
