When service is crucial to customer-facing businesses, it's important to make a good first impression. I did not have this here. I JUST wanted a good margarita. I did not get that. I told the waiter that my drink was terrible and I couldn't drink it. I asked if I could get something different and he said I'd still have to pay for the original drink. I have NEVER been to a restaurant where they've made me pay for something I didn't care for. Everrrrr. I said "really?!?" So my friend asked to see the manager and he also refused to comp me the drink, a drink I had them take away. Now, I'm not trying to be a Karen, but I have worked in customer service over the years and I'm very sensitive to what is good and bad service. Tho I know it's not the waiters fault, and I certainly don't blame him for that wretched drink, I could not extend a generous tip like I usually do when I dine out. That being said, I drank water and didn't bother to provide them any additional business, nor will I in the future. Because, obviously, if I were to not care for the food, presumably, they wouldn't make good on a food complaint either. I'm not saying the customer is always right; I don't believe in that. But being a gracious host is everything. So they would've lost $10 ... buuuut they would've had a customer return, probably many times over because I love me some Mexican food....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve been to the restaurant on 3 separate occasions and the first 2 times were good. Each time my husband and I go we bring at Least 2 other people with us. Today we brought family to have dinner and they messed up 1 of the orders. They ordered 2 beef tacos. The first taco was correct but the second taco was chicken and it wasnt noticed until after the first bite was taken. At this point the person who order was already full from eating everything else. We asked the manager to correct the bill for an order the waitress messed. When we asked to have 1 taco removed from the bill because it was wrong the assistant manager Daniel said no heād give us another taco. We didnāt want a taco we just wanted it reduced down to the single taco meal and was still told no. When we said fine donāt worry about it and said we just wonāt come back he laughed in our faces and walked away. As we were getting our to go boxes and paying the bill he asked why we were getting an attitude and being confrontational. At this point we had not said anything to him yet but once he started becoming confrontational it did get a little heated. The bill was $160 and the manager argued over a $3 dollar taco. We definitely wonāt be back. Itās unfortunate because other than the rudeness of this manager the experience was...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTook a day trip and ended up at Tony's. The name threw me as in my hungry state, as then I was thinking of pizza. From the moment we walked in, I was taken to a totally different place! The hand blown glass hearts & cheribus hanging from the chandeliers, the light up wings on the wall & the bathroom was not only emaculent, it was stunning! I decided to go off script and try something completely different than my usual picks. I got half a pineapple with shrimp, steak, chicken, pineapple, and onions in a cheesy sauce. Guacamole & Chips. Fresh! Delicious & came out quickly. I had a Fiesta in my mouth, and the pineapple was sweet and tender. Stayed with water as I had already eyed a treat for later. Fried Ice cream! I had never tried this before it was crazy! Like a cinnamon puffy donut with vanilla ice cream inside drizzled with chocolate & honey with strawberry puree on the sides of the bowl. I actually wanted to rename the dish... Plated Sex... I was left completely satisfied. š š¤£ š They do offer a Military Discount. Unfortunately, the manager had stepped out so they couldn't fix the bill. It was a pricey lunch, but well worth the money. Was worth the 2.5 hour drive! In the summer, they can roll up the garage style doors and have a real party...
