Well a 1 is unfair because it Was CHRISTMAS Day. No Restaurants Open But Waffle Houses. They had so many people inside they started taking only to go orders. Then, People Had waited 45 min. to an HR. standing inside, call ins, People ordering. Way too many people behind counter like bumper to bumper traffic .The Cooks were working so hard and very fast but it was too much for such a small area. Finally, the MGR Called Take no more orders. We must get the people inside taken care of and already called in orders filled I was there for 50 min. Got my order and I called my order over again to the girl who waited on me She was very nice, polite but worked to death. What I called out again is exactly what she had written down. I got out to car which I parked 15 cars away and I have handicapped parking but I was hungry. Could not sit down in car. A waitress was standing outside smoking near me and She came over seeing my frustration she looked at everything and I DID NOT have my order. She said let me have that. I appreciate her very much but she was outside smoking no mask no gloves and grabbed my 2 plates and ran inside with them. I had my blueberry waffle in 1 carry out and a Order whole slice of country ham in 1 carry out so they were left in bag in car. I got out and followed in but she went to back. I went to front door. I wiggled my way through. 4 different people were looking at order and the waitress who took my order and took my cash was with them. It was a little over 19.00 and I left waitress 4.00. People were still piling in and having to wait . Many walking out. 2 or 3 were angry about the long wait. Finally The MGR .said he had my order right. I looked I said No this is plate, 3 scrambled eggs with cheese, grits with cheese and Texas toast. It Goes with Blueberry Waffle and Large Country Ham in Car. I had 2nd order of 3 scrambled with cheese and order of bacon. No grits, No Bread, No Hash browns. Only bacon and 3 eggs with cheese He apologized and got them on it. He had also put regular thin toast not toasted tore on the 1st plate but fixed that. Then I got 1st plate right and my 2nd Small Plate right. That wad another 20 min. They were very nice, apologetic and gave me the right food. It was as Always Delicious. Waffle HOUSE Breakfast Is Awesome. The Best. It Was just so unfair to the employees to put 50 lbs. of sugar in a 25 lb. bag. They were running their selves to death. Too many customers. Too little room Too many orders at 1 time. Too many call ins at 1 time. But Again It Was CHRISTMAS ONLY PLACE OPEN TO FEED ALL OF...
Read moreI went to get an order to go and had to ask if they were taking orders even though there were 4 people eating inside . The two waitresses never looked up when I walked in . One was cleaning and the other sitting by herself . I stood at the cash register for a few minutes then I walked over and asked if they were taking orders . She looked surprised and I told her I wanted to make an order to go , she never even moved or offered to take my order . I went back to the register and stood there a couple minutes then the waitress that was cleaning came and took my order . I ordered 3 eggs a double order of hash browns and bacon . I paid my bill and no I didn’t leave a tip . The waitress didn’t like that and went to the cook and was saying something about it . Needless to say my order wasn’t right but I took it and left with the waitress being very angry. I went a week before and the cook took my order and was very nice . I gave him a 10 dollar tip . I won’t be back again ! Very...
Read moreI've been going to waffle house for a long time. Everytime I go, I order the same thing. I order an Allstar with hashbrowns, sausage, and over medium eggs. I am allergic to wheat, so I ask for no waffle nor toast, and instead, two extra eggs. At every other waffle house I've been to, this has been a non issue. However, today, after telling the waitress my order, she informed me that I can no longer exchange a waffle for an egg. I opted to pay for the extra eggs, but insisted that I could have no toast, as I can't eat wheat.
She brought out my food with toast on top of both my hashbrowns and eggs. This meant that little pieces of toast were all over my plate. So along with paying extra for my order, I could not eat my order. I will no longer be going to this location, and if you have allergies, I would also no longer go to this location. They would rather talk about politics than pay attention to something that could heavily affect a...
