One of the worst fast food experiences I have ever had -- all Wendy's in the Myrtle Beach area seem to be slower than molasses in January during the Ice Age... This visit made all those in the past seem like a trip to Chick-fil-A -- It was around 5:30 pm when we pulled into the drive thru, there was 1 car at the window, 1 car at the order board & then us. 15 mins later, the car at the order board pulled around to the window & we pulled up. 15 mins more & I yelled "Hello" to get a response so muffled, we couldn't understand a word - I asked them to repeat that - to get only silence. 10 mins later, angry & hungry, I pulled around to be second in line at the window - still not having placed an order. As the car in front pulled away, I approached the window, and knocked on it -- as the person came to the window I proceeded to explain that we could not understand them at the order board & would like to finally place an order. Order was placed, and 10 mins later, we finally had our food. We left the drive-thru at approximately 6:30 -- The person at the drive thru was not in the system so a manager needed to give a "fingerprint" for each order - slowing the process even more -- so here is advice -- order thru the app if you want Wendy's in Myrtle Beach -- otherwise you will spend an hour of you life trying to get service that is faster anywhere else during a lunch rush...
And don't waste your time filing a complaint either -- I have filed numerous complaints to no avail -- we just keep hoping that 1 day the service will improve -- been 4 years and we are...
Read moreI’ve never been so disgusted in a restaurant. I don’t care that it’s fast food or not. The prop is disgusting. The staff attitude is absolutely horrible. The one girl had smooch all over her face. I made it very clear the cheeseburger with onions and the regular fry bag separately, they gave me attitude and saying they didn’t take the order and just gave every excuse under the sun. When you ask for a meal everywhere in the world that includes a drink and the fries and the person supposed to ask, what would you like to drink? We get through the whole order and I say isn’t it supposed to be a meal and she’s like you didn’t say anything in the beginning , didn’t even write the rest of the horrible experience that happened because I’m so disgusted and angry I pray I’m not getting food poisoning Customers behind me even said this is the worst Wendys in the world only reason why they go if you need something fast there’s nothing else around this place should be shut down the staff seriously get some better training Can do a better job than the entire staff. They treat it like a joke I’m sitting at the drive-through for 10 minutes. The one guy says something and then it’s quiet so I finally walked in and then they say how the drive-through is not working. I told him that there should be a sign up then. When I got there, it wasn’t even busy and they still took about six minutes to talk to me You don’t get food poisoning needs to be shut down I’d rather eat garbage off the floor then...
Read moreMy recent visit to Wendy’s left much to be desired, especially during the early morning hours. Despite being the only customer in the drive-thru line, the wait time for my food stretched to a frustrating 15 minutes.
From the outset, the lack of efficiency was apparent. Despite the absence of any other vehicles in line, the service seemed sluggish and disorganized. What should have been a quick and convenient stop turned into an unexpectedly prolonged ordeal that left me late for work.
Moreover, the quality of service did not match Wendy’s usual standards. The staff appeared to be either understaffed or poorly trained, leading to delays and confusion. It was evident that the morning rush was not being managed effectively even though it wasn’t much of a rush of
Regrettably, the disappointment extended beyond the service to the food itself. When I finally received my order, it was lukewarm at best, indicating that it had likely been sitting for some time before being handed to me. This lack of freshness further compounded my dissatisfaction with the overall experience.
In conclusion, my experience at Wendy’s early morning drive-thru fell far short of expectations. Despite the absence of other customers, the wait time was unreasonably long, and the service was subpar. For those seeking a quick and hassle-free breakfast option, I would advise looking elsewhere until Wendy’s can address these...
