Update - 1/8/2024 This location really needs to teach their employees time management. We arrived for lunch at 12:05pm, 2 people ahead of us. We did not get our order in until 12:20pm. Kaitlyn was the girl at the front register. We walk up to get our order. Kaitlyn who is just standing looking at the girls making the burgers says - "I'll be there in a second" "I'll be there in a second" "I'll be there in a second" "I'll be there in a second". Finally after the 4th time, I told her that I didn't have long on my break. We placed our orders and told her it was For- Here. When she called my name, it was a To-Go bag and all the food was upside down and dumped out; fries, nuggets, etc. 15 minutes to stand in line behind 2 people, basically ignored, and food dumped out. What a waste of money to go here. Every time we come, it gets progressively worse
I'm going to start off by saying that I have absolutely NO problem with the older community. Everyone needs to make a living and I understand that. Times are tough and are a lot different than they were 5 years ago. BUT when you have an hour for lunch and waste 20-25+ minutes of it waiting in line to place your order - keep in mind there is maybe 4 people in line on an average day - that gets to be a bit much. The reason being for this 20-25 minute wait is due to the very elderly lady at the register. (AGAIN, read the beginning of this review.) She is not very friendly and is quiet rude when you are placing your order. Example - me: "can I get the 4 piece nugget kids meal with juice, and..." Her: "WAIT!" stops everything that she is doing to go get a kids meal bag, fries, juice and nuggets to put on the tray (which takes a solid 5 minutes to finish this task) then proceeds to come back to finish your order and starts with "what do you want now?" This is an every single time experience when I come to this Wendys. When I come into the establishment and see her I dread even coming in the first place due to knowing the experience I am going to have. Again I say, I have no issue with the elderly community BUT possibly have her doing something else within the restaurant. It gets very frustrating having the same experience every single time...
Read more(this is the guy in the burgndy convertible mustang Gt the staff I talked with will remember me) Et. around 10pm, I very rarely go to a Wendy's, mainly because it is never as good as other places, they have the right material but it seems like when they would make it, it was the bar minimum. Well I stop by the Wendy's off of 221 tonight. I got what I usually get #9 Bourbon Bacon Burger with a DR.Peper, now I've had this sandwich before and it's pretty good but tonight, who ever is the manager running it, the cook who cooked it and even the kind service from the order taker, they deserve a pat on the back because I was in and out, AND THAT MOTHA TRUCKING BURGER WAS THE BEST BURGER IVE HAD IN MY 29 YEARS OF LIFE AND THATS ALLLL BIG FACTS IN ALL CAPS I MEAN THAT!!It was perfectly cooked with melted cheese the Bacon was cooked but not to crispy to were it felt like plastic, the onion rings were perfect it was soooo juicy but not greasy and dripping everywhere and the bourbon sauce was ALLLL the way there.. not like usual we're it's a drop or two, no my friends this time every bite was like watching your team win the game with a last second score, or even like winning the lottery, that kinda of feeling and after a terrible day that I had today this not only made me feel full but I'ma go to sleep tonight and froget everything else wrong with today!! Because I just got served the perfect and best Burger of my life... Keep it coming Wendy's staff on 221 and as for other Wendy's around. Y'all need to do better because now I know how good this burger can be.. y'all need to step it up to compare to this Wendy's .....
Read moreI went here to try the new wendys breakfast and ill say its on the higher end of the breakfast spectrum. Its a little more specialty or above basic but maybe a little too much for me. I got a breakfast sandwich but the eggs instead of being an all yellow omelette or scrambled it was more like a fried egg which i dont like. The other selections for breakfast were the same its all the old standby favorited but all jazzed up and fancified which im not fond of. If i was at a 4 star gourmet restaurant id expect that but when i go to a nationwide chain fast food place i dont want fake gourmet in paper and cardboard. What i do want is basic bacon/sausage, eggs, potatoes and trust me when i pull into the drive through line i know im at a fast food place i dont want them to pretend to be something theyre not and make something more than what it should be. But this might be exactly what some people want and if so then this might be great for them but for me ill stick with Krystals, Jack in the box, Burger King, Bojangles and Hardees breakfast when i just want a good basic fast...
