WINGS ON THE RUN — Restaurant in South Carolina

Honestly, i have NEVER WRITTEN a bad review but i believe everyone should know the lack of care this business has shown towards me today. I started by calling in a delivery order in today at 11:30 a.m. i ordered 12 single flavor wings. They took my order and proceeded to tell me it would be an hour to an hour and 45 mins til it would get delivered. I agreed (even though that was outragious) fast forward about an hour and they brought my co-workers and i food and when i opened the wings they only put 10 wings in the box. I called back bc honestly almost $13 for 10 wings is REALLY high and stated that my order was wrong. She stated that they had a special today and it was probably a mistake. She first told me they were going to bring me 2 more wings. I told her that was a waste of time for 2 wings if they wanted to gift card me that was fine for the difference. She then stated they would remake my entire order and that required the old wings back. I said fine. Fast forward 45 mins later they finally return with my fixed order and its 4 WINGS!!! AGAIN NOT WHAT THEY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO DO. So i called again and i delt with a woman named tammy or teresa (cant remember her name) she then stated that she got to busy to call me back to tell me instead of remaking my whole order they were just going to make 4. I told her my other wings were now cold bc i was told i had to give them back and that i just wanted a refund. She refunded my money no problem, i offered for them to take back the wings she said no just give them away or microwave them. We hung up and that was the end of it. THEN IT GOT EVEN WORSE. They called me back 20 mins after we hung up and stated that they are coming to get the wings. ARE YOU SERIOUS??? They were more worried about picking up wings that they screwed up than to make my order correctly. Good customer service would have MADE MY ORDER RIGHT AND BROUGHT IT TO ME INSTEAD OF PICKING UP WINGS THAT WERE OLD AND HOPEFULLY THEY DIDNT RESUSE.... The way this company went about this is one of the most childish ways ive ever experience. I eat here about once a week whether its delievery or pick-up. Pretty disappointed and i doubt ill ever return. Bad thing is ive referred MANY people to this...

I don't leave reviews often, but this place is worthy of one. A dear friend of mine recommended this place to me a while back, he swore they were the best wings in town..let me tell you how absolutely right he was. I ordered 30 wings. I got the lemon pepper garlic, painful buffalo, and garlic parmesan ranch. The sauces were out of this world flavorful, the the wings were perfectly crisp, and the bleu cheese dip was by far the best I've ever had. I also ordered a large side of fried okra that was perfectly golden brown and salted, they do not skimp on the portions. These traveled with me back to Woodruff road and held up without getting soggy, I don't know what kind of magic they have going on over there. The two ladies I met at the counter were very friendly as was gentleman that took my order. I cannot wait to go back and try more sauces and share these wings with those who haven't had the pleasure of getting their minds and tastebuds blown. I've found my favorite wing spot, don't look any further..this...

I had a coworker mention how great this place was, so last Thursday, i picked up some wings for dinner. I went with my favorite pineapple honey teriyaki, my fiances favorite garlic parm, and a 6 piece of lemon pepper garlic to try. Smokin Wings has always been our go-to place for wings, and that's how i fell in love with that pineapple honey teriyaki flavor. Called it in, and they were ready in about 15 minutes. Got home, and these wings were so good! Those pineapple honey teriyaki were sitting in sauce and so good. The lemon pepper garlic had a very overwhelming lemon flavor, but i really enjoyed it. She didn't care for her garlic parm, but i liked them enough to eat a few. We definitely don't need that many wings next time, but this place has better customer service, and the menu isn't overwhelming, like at Smokin Wings.
