Uhhhhh (**big sigh)
Huhhhh well this js like a nicely manicured entrance to nothing. A soccer field with a pecular placed restroom that looks like an after dark "unmentionable here" but we're writing this for the quality of the park. So yes there is a restroom.. there is one octagon shaped jungke gym with slides..under a huge canopy of trees. It won't keep the kids captivated for long bring some games. I believe I counted 6 slides. For those kids rhat may have a sun allergy or lupus or have very sensitive skin this is definitely the park for them..fully shaded down in a dip. Reminds me of my wasted youth back in Illinois the kind of place you'd find teenagers smoking a spliff. Like I said wide open field. Great for a mere sword war a massive water balloon fight or nerf gun war especially if you were bringing obstacles and things to take cover behind. Good for a soccer field or equestrian if this were allowed? If you want a wide open grassy field with a boring playground off to one side next to a sus restroom this is your...
Read moreWe have been going to Butler Springs since we moved to the area in 2018. We absolutely love this park and the playground equipment. There is a larger one for bigger kids and a smaller one for younger children. Both have swing sets and slides. There is a restroom open year round, tennis courts, a walk/run/bike sidewalk that does a .6 mile loop, and two fields for playing various sports like soccer, baseball, and kickball. There is a good amount of shade for the smaller kids playground but not much for the other playground area. The water fountains worked before COVID, but last time we visited a week ago they weren’t turned on yet. There is a changing table in the women’s restroom, but I’m not sure about the men’s restroom. There is a large pavilion that’s shaded for birthday parties or to sit and have lunch, as well as large trees throughout the park to sit under and relax. This is such a great park and we always enjoy it. It’s not usually very crowded, but some days it can be when there is a party using...
Read moreThis lovely park has separated playgrounds for younger and older children. There is a covered picnic shelter with restroom facilities that make it nice for gatherings. There are tennis courts and ball fields flanked by a concessions stand. The paved .6 mile walking path has just a few gentle inclines and is mostly shaded. Dogs are welcome and there are two pet waste bag receptacles if you've forgotten to bring supplies. Overall this is a very pleasant park. Keep your camera ready because you might see a...
