My husband and I had lunch there after church yesterday. I ordered a Big Bopper no lettuce or tomato, my husband ordered a chef salad French dressing. Our meal was delivered, I looked at my hamburger and it had bacon on it, not what I ordered, our waitress was making milkshakes, another waitress came by, I told her I had the wrong burger, she looked at I guess an electronic ordering device. Told me I had ordered a BB King, I said I didn't, but if she could get me onions and pickles it would be fine. While she was getting those my husband took a bite of his salad and just about gagged. Something is wrong with this dressing, I tasted it and it definitely was not French. I told the waitress she said it is French you'll just have to tell your server. Our waitress came and we told her something was wrong with the dressing. Immediately she said she would get another salad and more dressing, she realized then he had been given in error buffalo wing sauce, she apologized, everything was fine. When we went to check out the rude waitress was at the register, my husband who retired from the military asked if they did military discount she never answered just huffed and told him the amount. I have eaten there several times and have been happy, I know he will never go back. A few others from our church were there bi messaged today to see how their lunch was. they had the same rudeness from the...

I've eaten here before and have had food brought to me from here before, and I've always liked it from what I remember.

I hadn't eaten inside in forever, but that changed on Wednesday, August 21, 2024. I had the day off work and decided to go have lunch there. Overall, the food was good (which came to me rather quickly after the order was taken, so thumbs up there), but the service was horrible.

I came in, and while a lot of the outside seating was filled, the inside had several vacant tables (it's also seat yourself). They did not appear to be busy (more so a normal, steady volume of customer flow). The whole time I was taking my time eating, my server never once checked on me to see if I needed anything or asked me if I wanted a refill on my drink. I finally asked another server to get me one. My server was too busy the entire time I was there, talking exclusively with one other customer (whom she appeared to know), and only stopped briefly to take ready orders to tables or to take orders from a new customer.

If this is the type of customer service Happy Days Cafe offers, I won't be in a hurry to come back. I'll be back eventually, as I like supporting local businesses, but y'all have got to do...

My first visit, walking in, I was honestly not very impressed. A large, open room, with plain wooden chairs and tables. The floor seemed old and dingy. The highlight of the decor were several very cool posters from the 50s. Also 50s music was playing. I was with a client, and they wanted a hotdog and brought me here. I'm not the biggest hotdog fan, but actually enjoyed my hotdog. Properly cooked, and a soft bun. I had the German dog. The sauerkraut was perfect. Sour, but not overly so. I will say, we loved the onion rings so much, we ordered more! (Try dipping them in their homemade ranch!) As we ate, I quickly began to relax and actually enjoy the simple setting and music, feeling like I was back in the simpler days of the 50s. After lunch, we both had an ice cream cone. Nice, large scoops of delicious homemade ice-cream! I ended up enjoying my visit so much, I did not agree about going right back for dinner with my hubby after I told him about it! He had their barbecue sandwich, I had the grilled chicken. Again, very good, and had fun trying another scoop of ice-cream! Not a fancy place, but...

Update, June 13th. 2024, This is update , I went today thinking good thoughts. It was a little busy being it was 1230, lunchtime. I Had a Rueben & Onion rings. Plain ice tea. Pretty good, could've used some 1000 dressing. But, left Happy. March 2024. I stopped in & saw dessert case. Said home made. I got 2 single pieces of cheesecake. On was w blueberry. Other was I think pbttr & choc . I didn't pay that much to price. It was about $16 dollars for 2 slices. It was good. Nice little place. A little nostalgic. Homemade pies & cheesecake. They have a burger w house made pimento cheese & a fried dill pickle w bacon.

Heard good things about this place, so I stopped by with my uncle. Got their bacon cheeseburger and mozzarella sticks. The mozzarella sticks themselves were great, but the marinara sauce to dip them in was abysmal. The burger was excellent though, in every aspect. I give this place a solid A, and definitely recommend stopping by!
