This was my first time eating at Suzie's, and let me Tell You folks it was phenomenal! I have heard of them for many years, but I'm usually in a hurry when I'm traveling through the area and haven't stopped. However, today I was having my vehicle serviced at Joe Holland Volkswagen which happens to be just behind Suzie's. My wife has told me for many years about the amazing memories her and her friends have had while eating here. I absolutely love biscuits and breakfast, and being a West Virginian of course I am used to eating Tudors. I'll tell you right now tudors has NOTHING on Suzie's!! The biscuits are huge and absolutely tastes like Grandma used to make! This place gave me the greatest breakfast meal I have had in a long time. Even brought back memories I didn't know I had! One bite of their phenomenal sausage egg and cheese biscuit, and I was whisked away back to my childhood sitting around my grandmother's kitchen eating breakfast on the weekends. They use real ingredients in real food to make real memories and magic. The place is absolutely clean, the staff is smiling and very accommodating. Everyone coming in is in a good mood, because they know they are about to enjoy something sensational. Don't be like me and continue to rush through the city, if you are ever passing by here please take your time to come in and enjoy a wonderful meal. The waiting time is almost nothing, it was ready faster than I realized. The food is amazing, but I would like to take a moment to talk about the wonderful staff. They are hustling and bustling and everyone knows what they are doing, the teamwork is clear as day. Smiling faces at the register, and they are not rushing you while you order. Take the time to sit down and enjoy your meal, and even order a second biscuit! I highly suggest the bacon egg and cheese biscuit with hash browns.

EDIT Changed from 5 to 3 stars for the following reasons:
I work every other weekend at my job and on Saturdays, I go through the drive thru to get something for myself and an elderly lady I work with. I get the exact same thing every time: a bacon daybreak with onion, tomato, a hashbrown, and chocolate milk and what my co-worker gets varies. I always say her part of the order 1st, then get to mine. Before I can fully say all of my part of the order, I am cut off almost every single time and am told I "confused" them.
They then proceed to regurgitate the order back to me (which is a good practice for any type of restaurant), but before I have even finished placing the order. To top it off, it's not even said back to me in the most coherent way, thus leaving me a little confused as to if they fully understood me or not.
Also, and I know people aren't perfect and that we make mistakes, but more often than not here lately, they get parts of my order wrong, leaving me to either come back inside or just accept my order as is. And why at this point in the life of this restaurant, is there not some sort of awning or covering over the drive thru...
Read moreI usually love Susie's. They are extremely quick,, the orders always right,, and they are very nice. However the last two visits, which were in the same week,, last week as a matter of fact, it has been nothing but a chaotic mess. The first trip there I had sat in the Drive-Thru for 6 minutes and not one car had moved so I went inside. It was a mad house. Customers were getting the wrong orders and the customers were in the dining room handing each other the right food containers. They gave me the wrong biscuits and I had to give them back, then wait another 10 minutes until they tried to get my order right. When they went to hand me my order I explained that it was not right before I even took it because there were 2 containers in it AND I ordered 3 biscuits. I couple minutes later they gave me my order. By this time I didn't care if it was right I would eat it anyway. The biscuits were right but there was an extra Biscuit in there. I wasn't going back to take a biscuit back. The second time I went it was also chaotic and they were having to give people's money back but thank goodness they got my 2 biscuits correct right from the start but it took quite a while...
