El Grande Burrito — Restaurant in South Elgin

The food has always been good, fresh and hot. The price is just a bit more then other restaurants. But you get a good product. The only drag back is in location maintenance and upkeep. It is degrading it's self as it goes by in years. A good deep cleaning would bring the appeal and smell of it. Staff is always friendly, courteous and prompt in the attention and service. Good Mexican drink options from agua fresca and jarritos. The torta is meat, beans, lettuce, Mexican cheese and sour cream. The burrito is just beans, rice and cheese With a choose of the meats, asada, chicken, chorizo, and in some cases if you ask Carnitas.

I ordered the steak burrito. I have definitely had better. I'm glad it came with hot sauce because it needed more flavor. There was no cheese in there and my burrito fell apart. My usual place in Addison includes a white cheese in there that is perfect. I am also used to the place providing chips on the table for dine in guests. Not here. The worker said they don't do that here. He was kinda cold and wasn't the friendliest. I will not be coming back and I gave two stars because my Jarritos was cold and the food was warm. This place is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO FIRE! LITERALLY THE BEST VALUED MEXICAN FOOD IN THE COUNTRY!! Anyone else doing a burrito, taco, tamale + rice and beans for $12?? Idts!!
