I live right across the street from this newly opened fast food restaurant. Last night, I made a trip there at around 12:30AM for a Midnight snack. I wanted something to munch on, so I asked for a large order of French fries. The reason I only got fries was because of the high prices, $12 for a hamburger with avocado is pretty steep especially on a place I've never been to. Nonetheless, as I got to the window to pay, the cashier told me my total, $3.30 for French fries. Let's just say I was expecting some pretty good fries. The cashier was much less than friendly, didn't say hello, ask how I was doing, or even bothered to make eye contact. When he handed me my food I was a bit surprised that the quantity was so little for the price, about a half a pound or so I estimate. As soon as the bag was handed to me, the worker walked away before I could ask for condiments (there were two ketchup packets in the bag) I had to wait three or four minutes for him to come back and ask for thousand island dressing, to which he just stared at me, said nothing in return, turned around, and came back with a one ounce plastic container half filled with dressing. This really frustrated me after paying almost $4 for potatos just to eat them plain. I pulled around and parked my car, walked inside and asked for the manager. The man inturrpted me and told me that I didn't pay almost $4 for potatos even after I showed him my receipt for $3.30 (in my mind I t might as well have been a full $4). He even grabbed the receipt out of my hand. He told me that anywhere I go, I would have to pay for thousand island even if I paid for a meal. Well I have news for him, Tom's Jr. on Atlantic and Tweedy, they don't charge ever, nor does the one on Long Beach Blvd. I'll happily keep returning to Tom's Jr. after such an unsatisfying customer service experience that I received at Hercules, no more than one week after their opening! Don't be fooled by their tacky spotlight advertising their "grand" opening. There's nothing grand or hurculean about this place other than their prices and their egos. BTW, when I got home I almost didn't want to eat the fries, but I gave them a try. Either the oil they were fried in was not hot enough, or they were undercooked because they were extremely soggy. If I took them and balled them up in my hands, I could squeeze out probably a half of a cup...

Read moreThis place has a taste I cannot compare to anybody else. Everybody is always willing to help you here. Even if you're just sitting down having a burger that will always ask you if you want something else is there anything they can do for you . Service like this goes a long way in my opinion. This is literally the service you get in a high-dollar joint. Nobody has a nasty attitude nobody is too tired to fetch you a refill of your favorite beverage. It is for this reason that I give this place Hercules Burgers 5 stars above and beyond. I have been going to a very popular hamburger place for a long time. Hercules Burgers to me is the best place to go. Please stop by and experience for yourself when I'm talking about. Don't forget to leave...
