WaBa Grill — Restaurant in South Gate

Horrible place to go eat if you wanna be ignored while ordering your food , I had an issue with a worker and a said to be manager “Marlene C.” Whom I don’t believe was a manager at all was on her Apple Watch while I was taking my order got my orders wrong and and told her that if she would have gotten off her phone she would have taken the order correct , she didn’t like so she decided to mean mug me the whole time I was there until I told her to stop looking at me and asked for a manager Marlene told me she was the “manager” so then I asked for the corporate number cause no one should go in to a place of business and buy and be ignored and mistreated so I proceeded to ask for her corporate number , to no suprise she goes to the back as soon as I asked and calls her actual manager(on the phone ) and her manager tells her she doesn’t have to give me the corporate office number then she threatened to refuse service to me after that so I asked for my money back , this is no way to treat a daily customer . I don’t think Marlene enjoys her job maybe it’s time for a new one since she isn’t so good...

I'll be completely honest, was going to give 3 stars because they charge roughly $1.50 more than all the other wabas in the area. But after receiving my food pretty fast and the great customer service I didn't mind it as much anymore. The dining area was clean, soda station was clean, even the outside eating area was clean. I didn't have any valid reasons besides an up charge to give less stars but the pros outweighed that.

Ordered food today through the phone. Showed up to the place and the cashier just left. There was only 1 employee there and she didn't know how to use the register. My order was ready to be picked up. It was right infront of me but unfortunately since she didn't know how to use the register I couldn't even purchase the food. When I say she couldn't use the register I mean that she genuinely didn't know what it was or how it worked. She was just sweeping and waiting for the cashier that just up and left with no word.
