I went on Sunday 1\18\21 around 6 - 7 p.m. Maximum stars only to the staff member that was elected to watch the front door for mobile orders. His customer service skills was on point patient, courteous, knew his role inside and out. I admit in the end I lost patients with the Starbucks brand and it's mobile app, however, him no he is awesome. Sorry that I didn't get the name y'all.
Ok so with all that said, you probably ask what happened? Well with this whole pandemic mess. I learned the hard way (Yes been that long since my last vist. Just found out) that Starbucks only kept the drive thru for cash and debt card transactions. Didn't wanna use that service especially when it was all the way to the street even to the point of the curbside. If you wanted to avoid drive thru or are walking up to go inside. There's no front counter service available to order to-go. You will be requested to order though the mobile app. So I downloaded the app navigation was fairly easy for me, however, the frustrating thing was the payment screen I came to find and this is to my understanding. You have to apply money to the app account from your debit card. The starting amount was $10 you couldn't apply less. Was trying less due to the fact that I was using a friends gift card. In opinion Starbucks really needs to really open the front counter service. Only for ordering to go. Not everyone wants to stay in that traffic. It will balance out the flow. Not everyone is cpu savvy or wants to be forced to use the app. In final for me I'm a no for Starbucks or will keep it extremely rare to vist. I will say though the employee did amazing and was a privilege to...
Read moreReally wanted to give 1 star but because Gabriel (guy whom took my order) was very courteous via intercom I decided I would add 2 more. I can say in advance I will most likely never EVER!! return to this location. I kid you NOT!! there was only 7/9cars in front of me and it took me 50min to reach the window plus another 12-15 at window getting my stuff. I know times are bad but who really has over 1hr of time to spare just to get my Sports man (14yr old kid) a drink while he is having his work out which I showed up 30min late to pick him up from thanks to the excessive amount of time spent here. I get more and more dissatisfied in the way service is provided in our local Starbucks, no wonder I end up going far far from the "hood" for a simple coffee run when I have the time and a full tank. For a quick second I thought "well they are probably under staffed" but when I arrived to window I realized maybe too many bodies in there was the problem. Technical difficulties maybe? but if so, you would think employees would relay the message to help the frustrated customer understand the problem. Last but not least I had 2 different people approach the window and provide me with my order. 📓🖊 Ps. My drinks were NOT made to order but I was so late to pick up my kid, that was the last of my worries...
Read moreFirst off, I came this last Thanksgiving. I think it's nice that even during the holiday, there are still people out there working hard when they could be enjoying their holiday. Unfortunately, I've fallen quite behind on studying so I stopped by for some studying (on Thanksgiving I know, I'm lame lol). Anywho, it was raining and it was cold and and what appeared to be a homeless man came in and sat in the table in front of me , and he had this phone with loud music. He was just singing along to it, being pretty loud and nonchalant. A few minutes later, an employee (I dont know his name but he has long hair) approached him and I was sure he was going to kick him out for being loud. But on the contrary, he approached this homeless man as he would approach any other person and introduced himself. He asked him if he could lower his music and the man agreed. He then offered him a cup of water and a sample of some roast coffee. I was truly taken aback at his approach and felt touched. It was Thanksgiving afterall and it was raining out. It's so rare to see people just being good people for the sake of it now a day. Not only are the employees working hard during a holiday, but they have a great attitude while at it. You're doing a great job,...
