Wendy's — Restaurant in South Hill

To share my experience tonight when my family and I had stopped in our way home Is when I ordered my burger I asked for NO tomato as I am highly highly allergic to them well tomato was in fact put on my burger didn’t know this until biting into my burger causing me to have an reaction to it! As I was almost 1 hour and a half from home My throat started to close up and was EXTREAMLY hard for me to breathe as well as my tongue is swollen! My family called to tell them what had happened and then spoke to a manager who didn’t seem to care that this was life threatening to me! Needless to say I will never eat at this location again and I will be taking further action for there careless mistake! For crying out loud if I would not have had the correct meds on me I would have died! Thanks Wendy’s manager and staff of south hill for not giving two craps and putting tomato on my burger when I clearly asked for no tomato on my freaking burger! I mean how hard when I ask for no tomato twice and you still make the careless mistake thanks for making my throat and tongue swell to the point I had to ride almost and hour and a half home in misery! You guys are truly ridiculous and I will be reporting you! I’m truly annoyed and shouldn’t have had to go through this! Way to go Wendy’s! Dont waste your money here as my family spent over $50 here tonight service is horrible!...

This fast food place is what I like to call the Russian Roulette of South Hill's dining experiences. Sometimes when you go, the line is wrapped all the way around the building and backed up to the road. In my opinion, that speaks volumes for how good the food is. Sometimes you'll go and the place seems deserted. Sometimes you drive up, order and have your food in maybe 2 minutes, sometimes it takes close to 10. Sometimes the staff is amazing, friendly and professional, sometimes they obviously hate their job, hate you, hate Wendy's and don't want to be there. Really, these things can all be mix-matched at any moment and any time you go. I can't say a majority of my experiences have been perfect, because just as many haven't been.

The inside of the place is okay, don't expect much in terms of being fancy since this is one of the older food places in town. One window drive thru and single entrance/exit to parking lot shines brightly for how long this place has been here.

Of the fast food places in town, I would honestly only recommend Wendy's if you have nowhere to be in a hurry. The Roulette factor just can't be trusted when you're on a time limit. Otherwise, one of...

It depends on who is working here at the time you get food that will determine your experience. They have some new people who love to let the line max out into the highway before taking an order. When u do get greeted without a rude comment that's also a plus. But as you've waited for 25 min to get to the speaker to order they will ask you if you can give them a second. At this point you're already stuck in line unless you want to hop the curb so you wait about 5 more minutes. Then the lady will say okay go ahead with ur order to and then to continually pound you with is there anything else is there anything else is that all we don't have that. Finally get ur order in and then boom you drive all the way around the building to the window and realize they are only taking 1 order at a time... And forcefully keeping the line from the speaker to the highway long so less people will come. Blew my mind. Now some days you can go and there will be a manager there and it's completely different.
