Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in South Hutchinson

Pulled up to drive thru. Nobody answers. 5 min later, I pull to the window. 2 people look right at me and keep going. I called the store and asked if someone would come help me. The guy, throws open the window and doesn't say sorry, hi nothing. Then I asked for a blast and water and wanted a third item but he slammed the window shut. Then he asks for money and didn't give receipt. He hands me my stuff and slams the window shut again. He didn't give my receipt or napkins. After another 5 min wait, he finally opened the window . I sat there so long all I remembered was napkins. He was rude, and didn't seem to like the fact that I was there. He had the headset in one ear and an ear pod in the other. Now we know why he didn't know I was there. Don't worry sonic, I'll never disturb you again. And don't send me your 800 number. When I called they spent 7 minutes pretending to not be able to fund the sonic in question. People, there is a McDonald's across the street. Go...

Took longer to get our order out after the screen said it was heading out (about 10 minutes longer). The person that brought it out apologized for the wait and said the original server got swamped inside.

We paid with cash. He said he didn't have the right change and ran back in to get it and came back with 2 free drink coupons as well as our 6 cents in change. He was gone for maybe a minute or two.

He said it shouldn't have taken the extra 10 minutes to get our food to us and wanted to try to make it up to us.

He apologized again for the wait and asked if we had everything in our order. I checked and we did and it was definitely freshly made. He said he remade our order as well because he didn't feel it would be fresh by time we got it due to the wait. He said that only took about 2 minutes and then he rushed it straight out.

He really made us feel better. Our only bad experience was the long wait which he did whatever he could to...

This trip to Sonic is by far the worst experience I have ever come across. I had a Super Sonic Double with jalapenos, with Chili/Cheese tots with jalapenos, and a Rt 44 Cherry Vanilla Dr Pepper. The first thing I see is old tots with a scant bit of chilli and a whisper of cheese. Conservatively maybe 15 tots in total. I brought that back to the counter where I was met with a employee who asked if I had gotten the "old tots". They ended up replacing the tots, but still with the barest amount of chili and cheese. I unwrapped my burger to the sight of 2 old patties that were luke warm at best. There was no adult in sight of the back counter. And when I was leaving the restaurant when I tried to throw away my garbage I was met with full cans. Terrible and I hope that someone either fixes things or that Sonic finds both better employees...
