Time for an update to my original review post 2 years ago: they deserve better. I've been here several times since then, and every time the pho is hot, flavorful, and delicious. The egg rolls are fantastic. Best of all, the people are so happy, always smiling and friendly and make everyone feel welcome! Great place to eat, highly recommended.
It was okay, but not overly impressive for my first visit. Clean dining area, plenty of seating for when I went at lunch time. I just asked for the "best thing on the menu", and they selected the large Beef Combo Pho and Winter Melon Milk Tea. It took longer to get my order than I would have expected, but being my first time there I'm not sure what I should have expected. The pho was enormous, too much for one sitting and I probably would order the small next time. I liked the brisket beef, but did not care for the meatballs - they had a weird texture. I wish the broth was more flavorful and served hotter, it was almost lukewarm. But the noodles were good, and the basil and sprouts were fresh and delicious. The Boba Tea was really good, very flavorful and refreshing. All in all I felt like the cost for value was a little high, but it was ok. Wouldn't be my first choice, as there are 3-4 other restaurants nearby I think I will stick with in the future. However, if they ever added Pad Thai to the menu, that might bump it up to...
Read moreMy first visit to this place (and the last). The soup was tasteless and the shrimp in it was awful..I quietly went to the side of the counter to ask for some soy sauce and it was practically thrown at me..I tried to flavour the soup but it still tasted awful I quietly approached the side of the counter again and asked to have a replacement of something else..which was refused so asked to see the Manager.a female named Tory came over and I exolained that I felt that the food was tasteless and would like to chose something else Tory began to talk over me and said it wasnt the fault of the food..everyone else didnt complain etc..My friend who was with me came over to see why Tory was yelling..all I wanted was the choice to depart as a happy customer..The rudeness.. the lack of customer service..the agression and bullying directed towards myself and my friend was embarrasing..We asked for the name of The Manager and Tory said that she was a manager and part owner....at no time did she take any responsibility to remain polite..(I have usually found that Asian culture is usually respectful to Senior Citizens)..certainly not the case here..only anger..agression..and a bullying attitude.I definately dont recimmend this place ..Also there were uncovered bones sitting in the floor???.makes me wonder...
Read moreWe tried this place out because the nearby Indian place is closed on Sunday. I had been to the one located in Lehi. Like most of the other reviews I feel like this place is overpriced for what it is. It is priced the same as my usual pho place (Pho Bien Hoa), but it isn't as good. Overall it is pho, which is good, but the noodles were skinnier than I usually get, they were also a little mushy. The broth tasted was flavorful, but tasted like it was from a packet and the usual spices in pho were toned down. Also it was not very clear like a traditional pho broth. The place comes across a little cheap with plastic spoons and disposable trays for the toppings, but you get a real bowl. The spoons are particularly thin and felt like I was going to cut my lips. The bean sprouts also tasted old. I like the idea of fast casual Pho, bit this place did not live up to my...
