I'm a customer and do delivery to this store and it's easily the worst service I've had at any of their locations in Salt Lake. I've been eating Costa Vida since 2007 and I'm to the point brand loyalty means nothing. The store manager and all the managers underneath don't seem to pay much attention to anything other than conversations between coworkers. Over 2 years of delivering from here and ive almost always been ignored and they have no respect for drivers. I've waited 20 mins before because they put the food behind the register but there's no one helping hand it out. Who knows how long it sits. When dining in the nacho cheese is always cold and congealed like orange cottage cheese or has random other food that fell in. It's the main part of nachos and they can't even get that right. The drive thru prices are wrong so I've been paying at least $1 extra every time without knowing because they don't give a receipt unless you ask. When I brought it up to Kaled he said he'd check on it then left the drive thru window open and I heard his female coworker say Well Too Bad. Not apologetic just talking openly like I couldn't hear then looked at me. First off, when trying to order he left his headset on so I could hear everything his coworkers said when I couldn't hear him. I had to have him repeat himself 3 times and the one time he wasn't even talking to me.
This stores manager should be demoted to dishwasher. Since he looks 12 years old and doesn't have any clue what's going on. I could type another 3 paragraphs of complaints about how messed up they are since first going in 2021 but it's easier to just...
Read moreI love Costa vida but I will not be coming back to this location. I walk in and there was one person in front of me who happened to be either a off-duty coworker or friend. It took them 5 WHOLE minutes to get them through the line because of the joking back and forth and lackadaisical attitude from the front line workers.... Whatever. I ordered a pork burrito and a pork salad; problem is they're almost out of pork. The guy starts scraping and scraping and scraping to barely muster enough pork for my one burrito. I saw how long it took them to get the last guy through the line so I know there's no pork coming anytime soon, and I'm in a bit of a hurry, so I changed the salad order to grilled chicken instead. Do I wish they would have charged me the pork price for the chicken because they ran out of what I wanted? Sure. But I'm not bent out of shape over it. What I am bent out of shape over is as they're putting my salad together they skimp on the tortilla strips so I asked them to add a little more to get the full/regular serving. The guy scooping them on apologetically gives me the rightful amount, but the guy behind them runs over to the register to upcharge me for ordering extra chips! Then they do the same exact thing with the salsa!!! I knew I should have turned around and went to Jersey Mike's next door while I was waiting in line at first, but now I need to make it my mission to help other Costa Vida lovers avoid this...

There is a young lady with long hair who usually works at the register or drive-through, and every time she takes my order it is wrong — sometimes I’m even overcharged for items I did not order.
For example, yesterday during my lunch break I ordered a Baja Bowl with grilled chicken and house dressing. Instead, I received pork, a bunch of melted cheese on top, and no dressing. This is not the first time she has made mistakes with my order.
When I went back to have it corrected, she acted as if she did not understand English. I even asked if she preferred Spanish, Ibtalled to her in Spanish but she still second-guessed me and implied I hadn’t ordered chicken. I showed her my receipt, reminded her this happens frequently, and explained how unprofessional it is to question customers instead of fixing the mistake. She never apologized and acted like the victim, which wasted my entire 30-minute lunch break.
