Meh. First time I've been there, although I've heard about it from Utah county folk. The burger was way overcooked and they let them sit a minute too, so just generally speaking the burgers were disappointing. I could see how someone might argue I just got a bad roll of the dice but... That's what I got, so, there it is.
The cheese fries were a redeeming quality which, combined with the ultimate dipping sauce, brings the review back up to three stars instead of two. The dipping sauce was reminiscent of the old training table and I love that, so it was a little piece of history and I would probably come back just for the cheese fries, avoiding the burger.
We also got an Oreo shake. the Oreo shake was generous, thick, with a great portion of Oreo. I enjoyed it, and I feel like it was fairly priced for what I got. There wasn't anything particularly special about their shake, pretty par for the course as far as any shake I can get anywhere in the valley from a specialty burger place like this.
So really, I stay with three stars because ultimately, they are a cheeseburger place, and the cheeseburger was downright disappointing. My wife and I both had similar experiences, overcooked, dry, lukewarm.
Summary: the ultimate dipping sauce was fantastic and is probably the strongest quality that makes this place unique amongst others. Honestly, with a sub-par burger I'm not sure if it's enough to get me back there often, but it probably will...

Example: My 6 year old daughter ordered chicken strips for $6. No fries or sides, just the strips. She got 3 of em. $6. 1 of them was an entire chicken breast, breaded and deep fried. The other two were two halves of another breast. We gave her the smallest "strip" and used the remaining as our chicken for that night's family dinner.
Another example 2 months later: Ordered a jalepeno bacon burger and a "small" shake. The burger patty was so large, it must have been a 2/3 lb burger. There were at least 30 jalepeno slices pilled in there and 4 slices of bacon layered across the burger and hanging out. The "small" shake was at least 40oz, mounded and overflowing.
I mean, if you like paying for gigantic portions of food, you'll love this place, but I prefer something less mammoth sized for my lunch / dinner.
Update in 2022: went for a large shake. Proceeded to share with my entire family, and there was STILL a third of it left for the freezer. We all loved it a ton, but all filled up on it to bursting and...
Read moreAbsolutely horrible. I had a great experience with this location about 4 months ago and I have been waiting to share it with my husband. We will not be returning. After waiting 45 minutes in the drive thru, I didn't think that it could get much worse. When I finally got home with our food (about a 10 minute drive) I was expecting the food to be luke warm however it was ice cold. I bit into my mushroom swiss burger (the same one that I've been craving for months) and tasted onions. I opened up my burger and there were onions. If it was one or two pieces, I could pick them out but there was a ton. The mushroom swiss burger doesn't come with onions! I called and spoke with the manager, who was understanding on the phone. He offered to recook everything if I came back in. I made the drive and went inside. 20 minutes later, I left with my food after asking twice to make sure that there was no onions. "No onions." I should have checked my burger before I left. They lied to me twice about the onions. My family will not be returning and will tell others...
