Placed a carryout ordeal 5:28 pm. We ordered a double burger, a lemonade , and a kids grilled cheese with extra tomato. We stressed that we wanted a lot of extra tomato and did not mind paying for it. Was told it would be ready in about 25 minutes. We walked in at the 25 minute mark and went to the bar. They said there was no order for us and they never took an order from us. We figured things like this happened ….so we ordered ,again, a double burger, a lemonade , and a kids grilled cheese with extra tomato. We ,again, stressed that we wanted a lot of tomato on the sandwich and we didn’t mind paying for it. We waited another 25 or 30 minutes. By now it was about 6:30 pm. Our order was finally brought out, and my husband mentioned that The person handing the order did not give him the lemonade. It appeared to us that she did not want to give us the drink. We waited another five minutes. When we finally got home and opened the order, there was no tomato on the grilled cheese, and it was really cold. There was supposed to be fries with it and there were eight french fries. The sandwich was so old that it was hard. The burger was raw when my husband took a bite. We were not able to eat this food. In addition… We were charged two dollars for extra tomato and didn’t receive any tomato after stressing that we wanted tomato. My nephew was not happy. We then looked at the receipt and the order was taken at 5:28 PM which was the original time that we had placed the original order that they said they didn’t have. It appears to us that the food was sitting there for an hour while we waited over an hour for the food . Everything was inedible and we had to start from scratch, figuring out what to have for dinner. I have tried Aubree’s before and loved the service and food. . Maybe this is just a one time thing that the service and food was bad. I will still give them another chance, but felt a little angry...
Read moreSadly, while I have been to Aubree's probably 5 times (I go there when vising my brother), my last experience was so bad that I will never return. It had nothing to do with food or atmosphere, but everything to do with the service and the attitude of the owner. I was sat in a both in the far back of the restaurant. There were no other customers in the entire section. I sat their for more than 15 minutes with no service. Finally, I got the attention of a woman who was sweeping the floor in the section, approximately 15 ft. from my table. I asked if I could get some service. She was rather annoyed that I was disturbing her, but did reseat me per my request and took my order. Her service was fine and the food was fine, I tipped quite generously, 23%, and left. I returned the next afternoon, and I approached the young man who had sat me the previous day and told him how upset I was with his failure to let a server know I was waiting for service. He was EXTREMELY RUDEAND DEFENSIVE. I asked to speak to the manager. Come to find out, that was the person who had served me the day before. She defended her employee and told me I had no right to chastise him as he was completely in the right and I was totally in the wrong. I was SHOCKED! I received NO APOLOGIES and was told I was rude. The manager has NO business managing a restaurant. I Will never return to this establishment. If you do go there, PLEASE REQUEST BRI (BREE) as your server. She is kind, efficient, and HONEST! The owner??? she should be fired as should the nice looking, young male bartender who did not have the decency to admit he had made a mistake and refused...
Read moreI'd love to say that my first experience at Aubree's was a favorable one; for the most part, it was. We were seated quickly after arrival and greeted with a smile by our waitress, who did a fairly decent job. She was attentive and kind. Unfortunately, our pizza was not made to order. Upon realizing they'd made a mistake, they quickly took the pizza away and prepared a fresh one, this time correctly. I have to say that it was very good; however, we realized some time after we'd left the restaurant that we'd been charged for the second pizza. With service like that, I'm honestly surprised that they've been in business as long as they have. I'll certainly never eat there again.
On another note, their draft menu is ok; not great. That didn't bother me, as I wasn't expecting to see a huge list from a pizza place. Overall, our experience was fair at best. The food was ok once they'd gotten it right and being charged for a pizza that I couldn't eat seems really low brow. Enjoy at your...
