My husband and I have a tradition where we eat here every Friday night. We've done this for the past 5 years, since we've been together. We easily spend $50 every Friday night here, and sometimes my husband eats here for lunch if he's in town. We order the same things every week. As regulars, you would think they would take better care of their customers, or remember a familiar order, or something. I certainly remember regular customers at my job, I'm sure others are the same. I cannot eat cilantro, it tastes like soap to me and it's something I can't help. I also hate raw onion. I specifically order no onion and no cilantro EVERY TIME. We ordered 12 tacos tonight, 6 with onion cheese and sour cream no cilantro, 2 burritos made the same way, and 6 with no onion or cilantro add cheese and sour cream for me, as well as some other extras and sides. Tonight as well as a few other times in the past few months, they put both things all over ever single thing we ordered ON TOP OF the steak being dry and inedible, so even if I could pick the stuff off I don't like, the rest of it is gross. Last week 3 out of our 9 tacos had huge chunks of fat and bone in it and again the steak was dry. I almost told him to skip this week because of that and now I realize I should have said go somewhere else. I have had literally some the worst few weeks of my life and now I lose one of our favorite nostalgic restaurants on top of that. I have been looking forward to this all week and I am totally crushed. Weekly date night = ruined. It may not mean something to some people, but it's very important to us. Unfortunately, they have lost some loyal customers for the foreseeable future. Try harder, and maybe we will try it out...
Read moreWe usually order our food to go, today before going to the restaurant I wrote my order on a piece of paper and when I arrived I gave it to the person at the take-away window specifying that they please put my order with the food separate and also extra sauce, he read it, charged me and asked me to wait in front for them to continue taking more orders in the vehicles behind me, they gave me my order, when I got home I realized that they did not place my orders as I asked for them, some of the tacos we ordered had different types of meat and vegetables as if the ingredients had been mixed together. the sauce looked like they put water on it and they only put 6 portions of sauce for 18 tacos. I called the number they have listed and they never answered, that is why I am doing this review, today...
Read moreThey were really fast with the order (we had seven separate orders and we were surprised how quickly they were done.) Kudos for that. However, the ketchup was so watered down, we thought it was taco sauce. They charged 4 something for a side of guacamole (which we thought was kind of high, but it worked itself out when they came back and said, nevermind, they were out of avacados). Another drawback is they are cash only. We were on vacation. 7 of us. Only one carried cash. :( So we had to go to ATMs to get cash to eat. Otherwise, it was okay. the food was decent. And the service was quick! For the most part, the food was reasonably priced. They had hamburger meals (beef patty with an actual slice of ham on top 🤔)...
