Townhouse Cafe - cash only — Restaurant in South Sioux City

In June of 2018 my wife and I had the privilege of passing through South Sioux City, Nebraska sometime between 6 and 7 in the morning. We decided to have breakfast at the Townhouse Cafe and I have to say that if it weren't a 425 mile one way trip from my house, we would be regular customers. You must eat breakfast here. Hands down the best breakfast I've ever had. I've traveled a lot and love finding home town restaurants - This is a hidden gem. Daily fresh baked bread, with real butter. Best country fried steak I've ever eaten. Absolutely amazing customer service. We had a full plate of Biscuits and gravy, we each had 4 pieces of toast, country fried steak, we each had eggs. Will never visit again. A friend and I stopped by here for some biscuits and gravy cause he had them here years ago. Saw from table into kitchen where microwave was being used for everything.
