Papa Romano's Pizza & Mr. Pita — Restaurant in Southfield

Usually never have issues. Today it seems like nobody knew what they were doing at this location. We place an order at 10:15am. At the time of the order they had kept repeating that they don't know when they will have it ready for us. They could not give us a time. After awhile I called at 11:42am and they placed me on hold numerous times. When they finally came back they told me that the delivery had just left. So an hour and a half after the order is placed they go out to deliver. Yet we are still waiting for it's arrival. Needless to say, we will never order from this location again. Seems to be run very poorly. Update As of 12:48pm, still no pizzas. When we called the delivery guy still did not leave as they had stated. They claimed they will deliver them free of charge, but I highly doubt we'll...

The experience with the cook was extremely disappointing. When we called to address that our order was incorrect, he immediately became argumentative, insisting he made the pizza himself. At no point did he offer to look at the pizza or ask us to return it—he simply dismissed our concerns and told us what it was, which I found disrespectful.

Considering how much money we’ve spent here, I expected a more considerate and customer-focused response. Instead, there was no regard for our feedback. When I pointed out that I was trying to handle the situation professionally, he responded by saying, “It is personal.” That’s completely inappropriate—business should never be taken personally.

Rude not only to customer (me) but employee yelled at him in front of everyone and cut him off in the middle of explaining to me what comes in the salad this young man was doing his job! I am 2.5 hours from home already out of my comfort zone on top of this horrendous experience! I just hope no one ever treats my child like that! I may be calling the labor board over this! no one deserves to be treated that way and It was bad enough he treated him like that but to treat me like that!
